It was a great place to say. The free Wi-Fi was easy to set up and fast (there are also 2 mac you can use). As a note ask to say NOT on the side of the street; The trams go till about midnight and there was a rather loud couple arguing on the streets one night. The lift is... more

I stayed in the Hotel V with a group of 20 travelers for the Amsterdam Marathon. The staff is second to none and the location was perfect. The hotel has a funky atmosphere and we felt VERY comfortable staying there. more

Cool place to stay for the young hipsters among you. Old and stuffy do not apply, as you will not be happy with the room quality. To sum them up, they are small and oddly designed, yet with comfy, small, new beds. But who the heck is going to be in the room in Amsterdam? Get to it, this is... more

I found this hotel to be charming in its atmosphere and staff, the room was very comfortable and although a bit out of the way, kind of nice in that it wasn't in the super touristy district. nice to wander and discover the outskirts of Amsterdam as well. Plus, breakfast was lovely, and the coffee to die for!!! Thanks again... more

Hotel V has a very cool, modern style. The rooms are a little small, but I assume everywhere in Amsterdam is. The hotel is newly remodeled and therefore very clean and stylized. The offer free breakfast and internet and were very helpful with giving directions. I would definitely stay there again! more

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights, Sept 1 & 2nd. We had a superior double room on the top floor. Very comfortable bed and nice linens. Huge bathroom and lots of room in the shower. Yes the rooms are on the smaller side, but in Holland you'll be hard pressed to find massive rooms anywhere! Plus we were... more

3 nights at the Hotel V and we left delighted and in love with the people and the place. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and cheerful; eager to help. Our room, tucked away in the eaves, was unique and playful. The included breakfast was a perfect start to the day, enough to fill and get us going in the day.... more

They advertise as being HIP and I wouldn't disagree. Black painted interiors, up to date and modern finishes in the bathrooms but the size of the standard double room was ridiculous!! You could barely get around the bed. If you dared to bring a suitcase you had to get on the bed to get past it. (and I am not... more

I stayed at the V for the weekend of my wedding anniversary with my hubby and we both loved it. Like an idiot I put all my spending money in my savings account and got to Holland unable to access the money but the staff were great. We called my dad (can't live with them, cant live without them) and... more
