Stayed in Sept 09, room felt dirty and badly kept, no lid on the bin (with stuff still inside), sheets with holes in them (not sure they have been cleaned since last guests) and a strong smell of stale cigarettes. Very nice place. Staff were funny, nice and flexible. We didn't have any problems and did Not see any mice (some say there have been mice). Location was perfect, but at first we had to search the place little while. Room was neat. Minibar was convenient. They provided coffee and tea generously. more

If you are on a budget and want a no frills place where you can just go, sleep and get ready to see amsterdam the next day, this hotel pretty much fits the bill.
