So bad That i doń´t Want to give good appreciation. The bedroom is not good because of the noise in the street. WC too near of the shower (room 606) Only one good thing: museums are near. No information about car parking

Ask of Alex (head porter) he will help you out. Other desk staff are rude and unhelpful. Great breakfast crew, very kind and helpful. The hotel needs a facelift the botox is not cutting it. Car Park is gravel not handicapped accessible.

The hotel is located next to the Rijksmuseum. It is close to shopping areas and to food areas. The TV had CNN and BBC which was nice. The breakfast was fine but you have to sign a formular; and you get a discount if you tell the reception the night before that you are having breakfast in the morning. It... More

We were a little put off by how small the room and bathroom were until after the first day we realized we would only be in the room to sleep. Our only complaint with the room was lack of storage. The hotel was perfectly situated near many tourist attractions and a short to medium walk to many others. We didn't... More

Nice hotel, central, lot's of local activity, nice restaurant next door. I spent a relaxing 4 days at the Apollo. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip. If I had to complain about anything it would be the breakfast, nice though it was, I do like my English breakfast.

When checking out I was told that may be next time I will come to the Apollo museum hotel... More

The location is not really central and you have to wait in the queue about >15min by check out, because to take back the paid deposit, which was not fully paid back because of taxes. Not recommendable

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for three nights. We were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist, and checked in promptly. Contrary to reports that we read on tripadvisor, we did not wait long at reception, and we found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly throughout our entire stay. Our room was clean and modern.... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
