Me and my boyfriend came here to number 16 for two nights. The check in was good we had to call her to get in but that was fine. Ninja I think her name was. She was really helpful showed us all the places to go and recommended some good spots. The apartment is a great location about 5 mins... More

I came here with a friend of mine and we stayed for 4 nights. The check-in was so-so. We arrived and rang at the bell indicated in the official address. No one answered but luckily a dutch neighbor told us to ring at a different number. This was not specified and we spent a couple of unpleasant minutes wondering whether... More

We stayed in one of these 'apartments' for 2 nights and paid 280 euros and I would warn anyone not to make the same mistake that we did. This accomodation is not an apartment, it's one room underneath the hosts apartment, which is made obvious as you can hear every word that they say through the wall. We arrived at... More

Unbelievable apartment great for small groups, just outside city centre close enough to walk and far enough away to get a good night sleep. Our host was fantastic and welcoming. Perfect for coffeeshop smokers as you can smoke in the room which even comes with its own bong cupboard! Cannot wait to stay here again

We have just come back from our stay and it was the absolute lowlight of our long awaited holiday to Amsterdam!! When we when we first arrived our host Katia rang us twice to see where we were ( check in is at 2, this was at 1). So we made our way to the apartment and arrived at 13.45.... More

Stayed here with a few friends. Walking distance to the centre and the station. The apartments were clean and comfortable enough for our couple of days. Find it hard to believe any one could find any big issues. The landlord was helpful, very few basic rules and some basic foodstuffs were available. Smoking was allowed which just made it a nicer... Been staying in these apartments for last 4 seasons in the row and just because of the simple reason - Landlords. Not only that they helped me more than they are suppose to but they did extra mile in anything they were required! I am so upset since I saw the last comment from Joanna Ticino, that I personally could... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
