Best experience I have ever had with a hotel! Jesper (the host) was great. Examples of why this hotel was the best ( the room was spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable). We were provided with an abundance of gift when we arrived, wine, cheese, chocolates, champagne for New Years. The hotel is in a great location with lots to do... More

We were traveling with another couple and all of us really enjoyed our stay here. Jasper was extremely helpful. He carried our bags up to our rooms, recommended places to visit and where the best places to go for restaurants. Breakfasts each morning were excellent. Simple, but with lots of healthy options to choose from. He also arranged for a... More

This b&b surpassed all of our expectations. We were greeted as friends and nothing was too much trouble for our friendly host. The room was lovely -large and tastefully decorated with a lovely balcony overlooking a courtyard. We were amazed to find a small kitchen with a fridge that was stocked with all sorts of goodies (all included in the... More

I stayed at Adriaen van Ostade B&B when attending a conference at the RAI Conference Centre in Amsterdam. From the B&B, the conference centre is a very pleasant 1 km walk along a very direct route. I was in the top floor room, which required climbing four flights of stairs which are narrow and steep, but they weren't a problem... More

My partner and i have just returned from Amsterdam and stayed in this hotel. We could not have been happier with every aspect of our stay. Jasper was extremely helpful and could not have done enough for us. It was very clean and comfortable. Close enough to the main attractions but far enough away out of the way of the... More

My wife and I traveled with two business associates and stayed at the B&B for a week. We couldn't have had a more gracious host or a lovelier time. Jasper was welcoming and generous. The rooms are clean and bright. Be warned it is Amsterdam not Amarillo, there is a narrow and steep stairway up to the 3rd and 4th... More

Stayed for a weekend mid April, jasper was a great host with nothing being too much trouble. The B & B is located on floors 3 and 4 of a 4 storey building. Very comfy giving a good nights sleep. Breakfast was amazing. There are very few B & B's I would return to but this is definately one of... More

We arrived early this morning from an overnight trans-Atlantic flight and Jasper tried very hard to get our room ready as early as possible. He greeted us early in the morning and offered us a wonderful breakfast, moments after we arrived, fresh bread, smoked fish, eggs, cold cuts, coffee, etc. He then brought us to our very spacious and clean... We stayed at the Apartments for NY holidays. Everything was perfect! Spacious clean room with some snacks in the fridge that was in the room, a lot of drinks renovated daily. The windows and balcony opend to the inner area. Product market and very good shop are just 5 minutes from the Apartments. It's close to the museus quarter as... More

We are a family of 5 and used two of the bedrooms. We found everything we needed and Jasper was a fantastic host. He really went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome and everyone was comfortable. The location was also very nice and just a 15 minute walk to the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum. Would stay... Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
