I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. On the one hand, it’s really a pleasure to stay in a 19th century building in such a beautiful area. The street and several of the surrounding streets are lined with postcard perfect late 19th century townhouses that are absolutely gorgeous. And if you go in knowing that the high price is... more

We are a family of four (kids aged 11 & 8) and we were a little concerned about staying in this type of hotel with kids. However, our experience was just perfect. The room, breakfast, location was great. We left feeling like we had visited friends. We will be back! more

Having visited Amsterdam on numerous occasions, and as someone who travels 1 week out of every month on average, I can safely that the Fusion Suites in Amsterdam is the best place to stay in the city and one of the best in the world. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the service is familiar and charming, yet professional and courteous,... more

We stayed at Fusion Suites for 7 nights. We had a grand suite, room number 1. It was very comfortable and immaculate. The area was away from downtown but a two minute walk to Leidesplein where you can pick up boat rides, tram connections etc. It was also one block from Vondelpark which is a nice place to kick back... more

Great place to stay. Small hitch with the amsterdamby website which tried to charge us for a deluxe room when we booked a classic one. The owners responded immediately apologising for the mistake and upon arrival, upgraded us to deluxe without us even needing to ask. Breakfasts were wonderful. Room perfect. Hosts superb. Highly recommended. more

Sorry for the long review.. hope it is helpful.. I tried to cover the hotel and a little bit about Amsterdam. If you are debating visiting Amsterdam (no matter how old you are) just go and you won't be disappointed. This was my third trip to Amsterdam.. I've done the partying weekends there when I was in my 20s and... more

It's all true, don't hesitate if you're looking for a quiet hotel to relax in after the huzzle and buzzle of Amsterdam's many attractions. We stayed here in early July and were most impressed with the level of service and hospitality that Alex and Sharmila provide. It's a unique combination of classic and elegant surroundings, the hotel has 4 suites... more

We decided on Fusion Suites after reading all the reviews on tripadvisor, and were not disappointed! the room (we had #4 on the third floor) was very large and clean. beautifully decorated and fully stocked. the champagne was a nice touch! The location was very nice, just 5 mins from the center and very close to all the museums. The... more

We have just returned from 5 nights at Fusion Suites. As expected this small hotel was superb. We had the Grand Suite which is comfortable and beautifully decorated, making it a wee home away from home. The previous comments pretty much sum it all up... Sharmila and Alex are the quintessential hosts providing a warm welcome, gorgeous breakfasts, great restaurant... more
