I booked Room Annette for 7 nights. The hostess, Annette is extremely helpful with everything from directions to attractions, restaurants and places where you can save up some money! She always welcomes you with a smile and a laugh :) The room was very cosy and small, however I was already advised of that when I booked. We had place... More

It was a pleasant stay at this place , very near to tram station and also very near to the city center , we stayed for 3 nights and found room to be clean and well maintained had everything in kitchen for the short stay I would recommend this place any day . And now for the generous part we... More

My stay at Annette’s B&B was more than wonderful. I was staying in room Annette. (named after the kind hostess herself) She told me the room had been rebuild and that was clear. Everything was available in the room: a little kitchen with a microwave, fridge, coffee machine and a privet bathroom and television. The room itself is small but... More

We stayed in Nyaki's rooms, on Overtoom, the official "dependence" of the B&B. The room was ok, apart from low lights and cleaning service only before our visit. Common toilet and shower very neat, but I can't adfirm the same for the cutlery/mugs/pots at your disposal in the shared kitchen for self-made breakfast. Nyaki is very kind, friendly, and helpful... This place is a danger to stay in. Exposed wires, shoddy work on the furniture. The bathroom was dirty and after a shower i felt dirtier than before i went in, also the toilet gets drenched when you shower. The only air come from a window next to a toilet, so enjoy that smell, and the skylight is completely open,... More

Room Annette has been rebuilt now. There were and are no bugs in my house. Every year we make sure the mattresses get a control and also at the end of 2012 nothing have been found. More

I stayed at Annette's at Overtoom for 3 nights in October in Room Rose. It was pleasant stay; the room was spacious (for a single person) and clean, the kitchen amenities there were useful for budget travelers especially with convenience stores close by. There were even two cats to keep you company. That said, the bed took a little getting... More

I had a chance to stay at Annette's B&B from Sep 1st to Sep 4th. This has been the most economical place I have come across in Amsterdam after doing a thorough research for almost a week. 30 Euros for a night..........what else can someone ask for? Very quite and laid back neighbourhood. Lots of places to eat. If you... More

The host of this B&B was bubbly, friendly and helpful, The location is okay - out of town, but easy to access tourist spots by tram or a half hour+ walk. Unfortunately, the plus points stop there. We had a room that was still being done up. There was exposed wiring by the sink (covered with a plastic bag) and... More

We stayed in Annette's daughter Nyaki's B&B on Overtoom in the Maxim room. As soon as we met Nyaki she made us feel welcome in her home, introducing us to her baby son, dog and 2 cats. Our room was lovely and spacious with a dining table to complement the cooking facilities available in the communal kitchen, a TV, balcony... More
