Wow! I was alone for a whole week, following art classes in the big city and I feld so "at home"! Peter en Blaine are lovely, nice guys and their breakfast is great (warm croissants/fresh fruit). What more can I say: just book for their B&B and don't forget to eat at their restaurant "Seasons". Mireille Zieleman more

I am the foibled laden curmudgeon referred to in the review written by ESB-UK. She could not be more accurate. I have "foibles" beyond compare when it comes to staying in foreign lands (or any lands for that matter). I always expect the worst and feel certain that not a wink of sleep will be had by yours truly. However,... more

My business partner is known to be the fussiest of travelers, and I'm rather particular when it comes down to it. And I had the challenge of finding somewhere that we could stay in for a whole week! Blaine's was spot on and even my partner's 'foibles' didn't phase them one bit. Perfect hosts, lovely, friendly and light house with... more

I stayed with my family at Blaine's B&B for 5 nights while visiting Amsterdam. Blaine and Peter were very welcoming from the beginning. We had arrived a bit early and were able to get into our rooms before check-in which was nice after a long flight. We had no clue how to rent cars or where to go while touring... more

This is a great B&B just outside of the city centre (about 15 mins on the tram), in a quiet location, and only 5 mins walk from the #2 tram that comes straight from Centraal. Blaine and Peter are the perfect hosts, check in was a breeze after I sent an email detailing what time I would arrive. Breakfast each... more

My wife and I had traveled into Dusseldorf, Germany with plans to stay in Amsterdam for most of our trip. We were traveling on a whim, so we didn't have accommodations. We prefer to stat at B&Bs because of their uniqueness (and added features that most hotels don't have) and were really interested in staying at one in Amsterdam, particularly... more

I stayed at Blaine's B&B for almost a month, and loved it. Blaine and Peter run a casual but well-appointed place, and while busy most evenings with their restaurant "Seasons" (highly recommended) they always find time to chat with their guests, and are very helpful with advice on great things to see, places to eat, and places to relax. The... more

Blaine and Peter were very accommodating to me and my wife. We stayed there 7 full days and had a great time overall. The B&B is located near Vondel Park ( I enjoy running and ran at the park almost every morning). The location is a 10 - 15 minute tram ride out of downtown. We always took Tram #2... more

This was a fantastic bed and breakfast! It was truly a gem hidden away in the back neighborhoods of Amsterdam. Just a quick tram ride away from the city center, it offered the privacy and quietness of the local neighborhood, but direct access to all the bustle of downtown. Blaine and Peter were wonderful, wonderful hosts, and have really taken... more

This was the first time we stayed at a B&B and I must say we were hesitant at first since we had no idea what to expect... But to our surprise we LOVED our stay at the B&B and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a stay that is different than the traditional hotel. We plan to stay at... more
