As this is a budget hotel I did not expect the earth, but I did expect a little more than I got. Firstly, traveling as two men aged 40+ and 50+ we had booked a twin room for three nights. On arrival they took over 30 minutes to finally decided that despite the hotel being booked through a travel agent,... More

A Good place to stay on a budget trip. Good conection to center, clean rooms and showers, standard and tasty breakfast. A little bit small room. A Good place to stay on a budget trip. Good conection to center, clean rooms and showers, standard and tasty breakfast. A little bit small room.

Stayed here some years back when my brother & I visited Amsterdam. The beds where comfy, the shower worked and breakfast was ok, admittedly I was fairly inebriated most of the time so I didn't really care that much but it was ok all the same.

Only stayed in this halfway house for one night, but it was enough. Our party was 8 people so we had booked 4 different rooms. Upon arrival the reception area looked quite nice but then we entered our rooms. If your looking for a roof and a bed then you wont be disappointed but that is literally all you get.... More

My 18yr son stayed new year 4 nights, first trip away with his friends. I paid for breakfasts on my card, £81. When they went to leave, they were told breakfast hadn't been payed for so were forced to pay another €104 before they could leave. Naively they just paid it and didn't get any paperwork. I only found out... More

The hotel is alright. Not terrible but certainly not great. Upon checking in we asked the pleasant Indian woman working the desk if she had any recommendations for places to eat near by, she had none. Literally she said she didn't know what was around but we could "probably find something." Um, ok. Then we asked if there was anything... More

The Hotel Flipper is a very small, poorly appointed hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not worth the 6 Euros they charged. The orange juice was in one of those large coolers that were popular 50 years ago and it was never turned on - I swear the OJ was fermenting in there. There are... More

This is accually a great place to stay, it is away from the city centre but it only takes 10min with the tram to get there. We had a small room but it was pretty cheap so we had nothing to complain about. A great place to stay when you won't be spending all your time at the hotel and... More
