We walked into the hotel and there was water coming in from the ceiling and construction guys everywhere. Our first night the guys fixing the ceiling and the rest of the building started work at 6am!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was horrible!!! They wanted money up front and were poor on "cleaning" themselves, they didnt smell good. They wouldnt let you have your... more

Truely awful hotel. Hotel staff wanted all the money up front and even included a 5% "Amsterdam sales tax" and preceeded to lie saying that "even ATMs charge a 5%" - clearly total lies. This was never mentioned when we booked online. Attempts to pay by card were also greated with "that'll be another 5%" - a total joke. Massively... more

we lost money in this hotel. Somebody from the hotel stole the money out of our room and the worse thing was that they didnt do anything about. when we went to speak with them about this, they told us that they would do for sure something to resolve it and that we should come back to speak with them... more

The hotels location is within a good distance to the RAI, but if you are planning on going to central Amsterdam then this hotel is a bit to far out of town, you can walk there but, takes about an hour and a half. Upon arriving at the Flipper (mid Saturday afternoon), we were confronted with a locked front door... more

Well first of all the hotel itself wasn't so bad. Our room was nice and we paid extra to have a private bathroom which was clean. We were, however, disgusted to come back to our room from breakfast and find that money had been taken from each of our wallets. From that point on we took everything of value with... more

We arrived before check-in time, and assumed that the hotel would have a secure room where bags and luggage could be left safely. Unfortunatley this is not the case. The receptionist expected us to leave our bags (unattended) in the reception area. We then tried to pay with a Maestro (debit) card. The receptionist informed us that we would have... more

"Single rooms are smaller than prison Cells" And i say that quite honestly with in mind that a prison cell is probably bigger. I have never been so disgusted as when i was shown to a room which i can only describe, quite literally and without exaggeration, as probably the smallest hotel room in the world. In fact, i was... more

My sister & I stayed here during the IBC exhibition -- we were charged 635 euros for a 3 night stay (the price was hiked up because of the IBC) -- usual price 225 euros - don't even book it at this price -- the place is a mess - dirty, dark smelly -- the location is OK for the... more

This hotel was by far the worst we have ever stayed in during 30 years of visiting Amsterdam. The room was dirty, the shower and lighting didn't work properly, the furniture was falling apart. The fire exits were blocked with furniture, the heating didn't work, the was not enough tables to seat guests for breakfast, the free internet was chargeable,... more
