Like all places in Amsterdam, the rooms are small and the stairs are steep so I wasn't surprised by that. With this hotel your are in a good location for bars and restaurants, right next to Leidsplein. We stayed there for 2 nights and found it to be pretty average. It was hot when we were there and there was... More

What's good: central location, friendly/helpful receptionist, powerful shower, comfortable bed, free wifi. What's not so good: small room with little storage/hanging space and no drawers, limited choice for breakfast, wifi stopped working on final night. We arrived early but were able to leave luggage in reception and go out for a while before checking in. When we checked in we... More

Stayed here between 2nd-6th July 2015, first member of staff we came across was lovely and happy to help. We were given room 12 to begin with on the first floor, overall, it was a nice room but a shame that we were given no fan or air conditioning in the heat that we had to sleep in. As a... More

The location is right on the tram line and near all the major museums. There is no elevator and the stairs are extremely narrow and curving. They would be illegal in the U.S. The room was small and noisy because it faced the street. I also got a number of bites that went away after we checked out of the... More

Just got back today from this hotel. We paid for the deluxe room...I would of hated to see the non deluxe. Our room was no31 two flights up very steep stairs..which for Amsterdam you expect. Our room really was basic...just a bed and a tele on the wall. Our sheets were clean however we did have a throw over with... More

I stayed in this hotel in a double room. I think it was the last they had due to a late booking. The hotel is a budget accommodation in an excellent location! Near trams, night life , and attractions. It is clean with friendly staff. The only tip is: When booking a room with them, be sure to ask any... More

The rooms are literally so small, I felt kind of trapped as my luggage covered most of the floor. Also, you have to climb a set of extremely dwindley stairs which are impossible to get up with a bag or drunk, or even normally! Great location, but I'd spend my money elsewhere next time.

A perfect stay if all you need is the central location, here it is. Well, the bed was all right and clean, but the bathroom (newly renovated) smelled and the room had not been cleand for a week or so, full of dust. We had to change our towels ourselves and no cleaning was made during our 4 night stay.... More

Location near places to shop, eat, and catch the tram. Comfortable bed, great free wifi, and friendly staff. The only drawbacks were the steep winding stairs and street noise, but those are to be expected for the area.
