What a way to end a 7 week vacation! Perfect hosts, perfect accommodations, perfect ambience. We so loved the breakfast chats, many laughs, stories and meeting others. Peter and Wulter exude such warmth, both have a great sense of humour, and provide a multitude of ideas while visiting Amsterdam. This is not just an accommodation but an experience one should... We stayed with Peter, Wolter (And Tommie) last week & had a wonderful stay. There is a beautiful feeling of calm & peace in the house - we felt instantly relaxed as we sat & watched the bikes going past in the street below. We own a boutique hotel ourselves, so we do know how much attention to detail Peter... More

This is everything a bed and breakfast should be. The hosts are engaging and welcoming, and they clearly take great pride in their B&B (as they should). Every design element is carefully thought out. Peter's dry almost Alan Rickman-esque humor plays off amazingly well against Wolter's infectious energy. Tommie the Beagle is lovable (Peter and Wolter act as if the... More

We were here for two days. Amsterdam is such a pretty city. Peter and Wolter's house is beautiful! They are so friendly and welcoming...good breakfast too! We stayed in the red room. It had a great view and comfy bed. We will totally stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Amsterdam.

My husband and I had four days in Amsterdam prior to a business engagement, so we stayed here for three nights. We were very pleased with our 4th floor Blue Room accommodations . The room was beautifully decorated with lots of good lighting and a comfortable round king bed with twin duvets. Our bathroom had the most modern appointments and... More

We spent five nights in Kamer01 in late September / early October. We stayed in the ground floor suite. The hotel, a small elegant canal house on Singel, is both brilliantly situated for many of the major attractions yet tranquil. That said what stands out about Kamer01 is the aesthetic which is brought to everything from room decor to the... More

I just want to echo all the comments from previous reviewers. This place is just lovely in all aspects and is so well located to all of Amsterdam. My wife and I booked the Red Room on the second floor for two nights. The room is large, with everything you need, including your own Apple Mac to use. Room overlooks... More

I cannot really add very much more to the already excellent reviews for Kamer, other than to wholeheartedly agree. I stayed for a long weekend at the end of August, and it really was wonderful. It is a beautiful canal house, perfectly located (in the 9 Streets area) for exploring all the city has to offer. We had the Blue... More

Peter, Walter(and Tommie the beagle) welcome you with warmth and style and this small boutique hotel has every amenity you could want. Comfortable beds, a sofa, efficient shower, fast internet and a delicious breakfast with carefully sourced food and drink. Add to this an unrivalled location in a pretty canal side street with unusual high quality shops(a wonderful cheese shop,... More

Located in a relatively quiet canalside, architecturally a fine sight. The rooms have superb views across and down the canal. The interiors are a tribute to their designer. Hosts, Peter and Wolter, get the right balance of caring hospitality and efficiency. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts amazing!
