From the moment you book to the moment you leave, everything is thought out with so much attention to detail. Before we even arrived we got an email with restaurant suggestions, places to visit, how to get tickets etc. This simple gesture made me feel that we were going to have a very good time at Kamer01. When we arrived... More

Kamer01 is a wonderful find in Amsterdam. It is centrally located with just about everything in the city within a 15 minute walk in one direction or another, plus close to several tram lines in case you don't want to walk. The owners of the B&B, Pater and Walter, are two of the nicest people you can meet, vey competent... More

The location was picturesque and perfect: next to a canal and within walking distance to everywhere. Old, traditional building with extremely elegant decor (thanks to Interior Designer owner, Pieter). Warm and cosy. Enormous, comfortable bed (circular or four poster depending on your room). Delicious breakfast: greeted by smells of warm bread and croissants wafting around the kitchen. Fresh juice, delicious... More

We stayed here in October i think ( a few months ago anyway but still a strong memory) but I still reminisce about this place as it made our stay in Amsterdam just magical. Our hosts Peter and Wolter were just our cup of tea! ..not to mention Tommy who was just adorable.... More

My husband and I stayed in the Red Room of Kamer01 for 3 nights at the beginning of November. This was our first visit to Amsterdam and we had an amazing break in part down to this fantastic B&B. The charming appeal of the city is reflected in the welcoming vibe created by Peter, Wolter and Tommie from the décor,... More

My husband and I spent 8 nights at Kamer01, and everything you read about this B&B is absolutely true. We have nothing but complete and total praise to write, and will certainly be back for another visit. Hosts: Peter and Wolter, and of course their beagle Tommy, are perfection. Reservations were handled smoothly, questions were answered with reliable and interesting... More

If you're travelling to Amsterdam, you MUST stay at Kamer01 B&B!! The location is excellent, the rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, and the hosts are fantastic. Peter and Wolter are so enjoyable to chat with, sitting at the breakfast table with the most beautiful view of the canal, they have great tips and recommendations that they're happy to share... A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
