The location of this hotel was excellent but that was it. The hotel room was not the cleanest had to share a bathroom with everyone else on the flour. The staff where nice but the experience over all wasnt very good.

This hotel is well situated for lots of attractions. The down side is that the rooms are small, 3 bed room was bunks and put u up bed. Not suitable for older people. It's also very noisy as usually full of students, with staff who appear to have no control over them. Doors slamming, running up and down corridors and... More

The hotel was much better than expected. I had read a lot of mixed reviews online about the hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. Myself and two friends shared a 3 bedroom room on the first floor that had its own balcony and large toilet/shower. The room gave us everything we needed; a comfy place to sleep and relax, chill... If you go to Amsterdam you don't want a luxurious room. You just want a place to sleep. This hotel is the best option. It is very cheap and the location is very good. I travelled with 5 other friends and this was the only place with a room for 6 persons. The room was clean but very small. No... More

The hotel is more like a hostel but comfy beds, nice staff and excellent location. Easy tram route into city centre and really good supermarket opposite. Would stay there again. Basis decor but as someone else said, it's a place to sleep.

Can't complain really! The inner hostel in Amsterdam is cheap and is basic, but it's exactly what you need just a bed to put your head down a room just to freshen up. I travelled with 4 other friends and we all agreed that the hostel was perfect for what you need in Amsterdam and we all would definitely come... More

This hotel is cheap (we paid 20€ p.p. per night without breakfast) and the staff is very nice and helpful. They helped us with buying sightseeing tickets. We had to pay before the first night and the room was very small. We had a twin room with two single beds. The small bathroom could have been cleaner, they were cleaned... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
