We visited Amsterdam last week and made our bookings at Bickersbed. Before our travel we got a mail from Maria providing details of travel to the apartment from railway station, which was a warm gesture in itself. Once we reached the apartment we got to us a warm cozy apartment and a warm welcome by maria. She showed us the... More

We just stayed there from 09th-13th of April. Since the main location was fully booked, Maria recommend us an Apart next to Newmarkt square (city center). It was a small apartment with a kitchenette and dinner table downstairs, guestroom and bathroom upstairs. In general the place is small, but the convinient of being in the heart of Amsterdam was much... More

We stayed at Bickersbed during Amsterdam Dance Event for 6 nights. The location was a little out of town but great to explore a new area, lots of shops and restaurants locally and we were very close to Westerpark, within walking distance which was great as we had 2 events there during our stay. The apartment is perfect cute kitchen... More

A tiny spotless studio equipped with everything that's needed. Tulips and mineral water in the Fridge is Maria's welcome. Less than 100 meters away from supermarket, tram stop to the museum area and bus stop to the central station. Going back to the studio after an 8 hour sightseeing is priceless. Free coffee and tea bags, basic cooking seasonings provided... More

Everything was perfect. We arrived late in the evening (23:00), Maria was waiting for us. She gave good advice for places to visit, she gave a map. She prepared a baby bed for our daughter. The appartment was very clean. we let our lugguage in the stair during the last day to take them back just before leaving Amsterdam. The... More

I booked the studio apartment from July 4 for 4 nights. It is at the top of a narrow flight of stairs, very spacious for 2 as it is the attic space of 2 small houses. We really enjoyed it, Maria is very helpful, Wifi was great, and the Studio is well stocked with cutlery , crockery, plenty of towels... More

We booked the room just a day or two in advance of our last minute trip to Amsterdam. We only stayed for only one night, but with the kitchen facilities the room would have been comfortable for a longer stay. The room was kept very clean. This was probably the most comfortable bed we slept on during our European travels.... More

The pros: The studio is big and consists of a separate hall, bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. It offers free coffee and tee. The cons: It had a strong smoke smell that lasted during our entire stay, even after opening the windows for some time. It is located far from the historical center: 20 minutes walk to reach the... Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
