We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights last week. Pluses: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom clean. Excellent location, to museums, shops, restaurants. We walked everywhere, did not have to catch the tram. Minuses: Breakfast was rather boring although adequate. As in most hotels and B&Bs in Europe there just is no place to hang... More

Stayed for 3 nights very friendly and efficient staff with good knowledge of Amsterdam. Stated in a basement room which for us was great but the people travelling with us found the room claustrophobic. I loved the decor and it had a very comfortable bed with good quality bedlinen. Adequate continental breakfast. Very narrow and steep steps to our room... More

It is a small, cosy hotel well decorated in modern basis. The location is good, walk distance from Leidseplein, an alive neighbourhood full of restaurants, bars, shops and coffeeshops. It is 20 minutes by bike from all Rijksmuseum and Vang Gogh Museum, Ana Frank house and the Red District. Tram and buses also 5 mins away. It is by the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and was very pleased with the location (you can walk to almost every attraction og restaurant you need). Also the service is great, however when we the last night was waken up by noisy (and weed-smoking) neighbors we couldn't do anything about it since the reception is not open 24/7. We also missed a... I have stayed in Amsterdam several times. I really enjoyed this hotel. The front desk is not 24/7 so make sure you know that prior to booking, and realize you will have to wait to check in about 10-15 minutes for someone to get there after hours. Super super steep typical canal house stairs here, NOT for anyone with mobility... More

The hotel is clean and staff very friendly. Just the bed was too soft for me. Except for Sunday afternoon, it is very easy to find a parking place nearby. After 19:00 the reception is closed, but someone show up within minutes when you ring the night bell. The stairs are very steep and there is no elevator. So for... More

The hotel location is excellent, the staff was very nice and helpful and the room was enough big for 3 people. Only problem was that we could hear every noise from the other rooms due to paper thin walls.

Lovely hotel, but be careful of Amsterdam steps. The stair that brings you upstairs is quite dangerous :-) Good rooms, safebox inside (strongbox), some drinks to drink for free, but no privacy at all in the bathroom: your partner will hear 100% of your farts (LOL) because of the not very closed "two-parts" glass door. I didn't like that. Good... More

This hotel is very conveniently located to the main attractions in Amsterdam, and very easy to get to by public transport from the main train station. It's in an old house directly on the water, with a lovely view out to some house boats. If you get a room upstairs you might find it hard to get to with a... More
