The hotel is perfect if you are looking for something basic and budget. BUT, even though it is basic,(bed, bathroom towels), it is neat, clean, quiet and central. The mattresses is firm and inviting, pillows perfect to sleep on. And everything else is clean, neat, white and worm. The bathroom is so neat and clean. Everything is working, and the... More

Very nice small hotel in centre of Amsterdam , near to Leidsplain but not close enough to hear and late night noise. This hotel appears recently renovated, and like all Amsterdam small hotels , is compact. The room I was in was large compared to other hotels and the en-suite bathroom was generous by comparison. Overall this hotel is excellent.... More

The hotel rates well for location and price, but other than that, don't really hold your breath. As many hotels in Amsterdam, it has a "no smoking" policy and sure enough someone tested it one night I was there setting of an alarm at 3 in the morning that was enough to wake the dead. Absolutely no luxury, good place... More

Staying in this hotel was not bad for me once I was alone and would stay only one night. Its location is perfect: short walk from several museums and restaurants and the price very affordable. However I would not recommend this place for families, couples or anyone staying for more than 1-2 nights, once the rooms and beds are very... More

The hotel was reasonable for a short stay, beds were comfortable enough and bathroom clean and tidy. Overall tidyness could of been better although didn't complain at the famous local produce being left in my bedside drawer, maybe a welcome from the hotel in the form of lazy cleaners. The location is good being close to Leidseplein and one of... More

Maybe OK for a "One Night" occasion but honestly you could hear the fear and desperation of a make-over. I could not recommend this for families or that romantic week in lovely Amsterdam as it could bring the relationship to an abrupt end with cold showers or cold rooms... The location was good which made getting out of the depressing... More

Location is ok. But lie on a lie. It is nothing as on pics on their website when we booked it! We booked overground canal view room - instead we got something completely different! From the window of the room we got - you can see an opposite room window in just 2 meters away! . Dirty walls . Website... More

This hotel did the job. Well priced and a great location. Comfy to sleep. Staff were helpful. If all you need is somewhere to crash for a bit this is the place. Nicer rooms on the second floor that first but it looked like some decorating might have been going on whilst we were there.

I went there this December. The environment was quite, clean and happy. The reception was very helpful. The room was clean but without sound isolation and the breakfast was poor. It it a very good option, but not the best
