We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. We booked the Canal view room and at the time we went this was the most reasonable option in central amsterdam. The best thing is the location - we almost walked to everywhere - hardly ever took the train. The canal room was really amazing - with the canal in all its... More

Our first bedroom was too small, with almost no space to walk or to put our luggages. It was located on the under street level. It was ok, I know that in Europe rooms are small, etc... But we woke up with people smoking and talking loud on our window. It was workers working on the hotel without any warning... More

Second time staying here now, came back to this hotel primarily because of its great location and admittedly for the better than average wifi connection. The room was for 3 and was essentially a room for 2 with another bed plonked in - not wonderful, but it sufficed. Clean enough by my standards. Beds comfortable but sadly the pillows were... More

I booked a single room with private bathroom for two nights. The room was very small but clean. Also the location is very central and very handy for visiting the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum. However, the extremely small size of the room means that it is only a place to sleep as opposed to somewhere one could relax after a... More

This is falsely presented as three stars - the hotel world's equivalent of grade inflation. Small, depressing rooms, no amenities in the bathrooms, marked, shabby and rundown paint. Maybe 1 1/2 or at best 2 stars considering the price - at 85 euros/night barely justifiable, especially given its convenient, central location, and friendly, helpful staff.

We stayed here for 4 days during the month of July 2015. The hotel is located close to the central station (1.2 kms) and is close to all the famous tourist attractions. The staff is helpful and the hotel provides all basic amenities. The hotel is under renovation currently but it does not impact your stay at all and the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel is under renovation from the outside but inside it was modern and clean- very nice. We were a little surprised at the size of the room as we could hardly fit 2 suitcases in. The bathroom was new and clean. The breakfast consisted of cold meats, cheese, cereal etc. Good selection. The location is... More

We booked this hotel last minute and we certainly were not disappointed. It is only rated a 2 star but it should be at least a 3 or maybe a four star. The hotel is clean & modern, and the location is great near to restaurants, bars & cafes. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was included... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night and choose it as we wanted to feel the atmosphere of Amsterdam City Center. As were not planning to spend our day in the hotel - it was a good choice. Hotel is located near canal and close to 1 and 5 tram line going from Central Station. Our room was very... More
