Got to say the location of this hotel is excellent, the room was clean and our room was cleaned three times within our 6 day stay. However the room itself was tiny! just enough room for one person if you ask me, it was also ridiculously hot. When we opened the window we discovered our room was facing a building... more

I went for an exhibition (IBC) in Amsterdam and booked this hotel online. Unfortunately, I booked it first and then read the reviews. After learning about shared bathroom and showers and no elevator I called the hotel where they confirmed this information. I immediately canceled the reservation, however, their policy is not to refund anything. Reservation was made over booking.com.... more

My sister and I booked two nights in this hotel after staying a few nights in a frighteningly sleazy hostel. It seemed pretty and clean and we got a good last-minute rate. However, the experience was even worse than our hostel. The receptionist who greeted us when we arrived was, without exaggeration, the rudest person I've met in any hotel/hostel... more

The only good thing about this Hotel is the location in the Liebsplein area of Amsterdam but everything else is horrendous. We paid for a triple room and were given a dark, dingy room in the basement with two beds and a chaise lounge which our poor freind had to attempt to sleep on which proved difficult since he is... more

We booked this hotel on Easytobook.com. What we dislike about this hotel was..... 1)The carpet was dirty and the window was broken..so we could not close it. Our first room faced a construction site and it gets very noisy in the day..(but you are not going to spend the rest of the day in the room anyway). Only that it... more

After a hefty climb up the steep stairs to get to the lobby barely managing to carrying our luggage up the steep steps. We went to the desk to check in we found out about the 5% surcharge of paying with a credit card. After a hard days travel we didn't have the energy to climb the stairs again to... more

The best thing about this hotel was its location being right in the heart of the busy restuarant/cafe/bar area. easy enough walk to the city sights, shops and centraal station, it was a good base for exploring the whole city by foot or tram. The hotel itself was shabby, the room very small, dirty and basic. We had problems with... more

This was my first time in Amsterdam but I'd already heard that at a budget hotel I should expect a tiny room, tiny bathroom, tiny shower, uncomfortable bed, etc. So I was ready for all of that (and got it).... but sadly I was ready for much more after reading the other reviews on Tripadvisor. But I crossed my fingers... more

The Questin Hotel was the worst experience we had in Europe. We saw a rat (not a mouse) in our room. The hotel was totally dirty an the attention was terrible. Rooms were a disaster. Very small, unclean and uncorfortable. Too Expensive for getting that awful services. more
