Nice option if you want to be close to the city but not deal with the noise usually associated with being there. Bedroom ok, bathroom average, breakfast very limited. Service basic. Tip: as with the rest of Amsterdam, be ready to go up stairs with your luggage.

Reception is friendly, helpful and 24 hours. Location is pretty good, room was clean. Bed is comfy. Only thing to let us down is the towels we're left on THE TOILET for us. My smoke was also taken from the room when they cleaned it up.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience and was so poorly treated that we will never return and will not recommend to others. Our main issues during our stay was that the elevator was broken and our room lacked proper heat. Our room was so cold we slept in our jackets. We tried adjusting the heat and asked the front... This Hotel was good value for the money we paid for it. Just a little over £100 for two nights and considering it was near the centre and around 5 minutes from everything. The room was a double en-suit which was kind of small but it did the job, the bed though was really comfortable. The only down side was... More

If you only care about location - stay at this hotel! The photos online show a cute, small hotel with nice looking, newly renovated rooms, but the reality is quite different. We were placed in a room on the fourth floor, that clearly hadn't been painted or anything like that for many many many years. the beds were uncomfortable, the... More

We We are a young couple and we spend a night at the hotel. The location is great – the hotel lies in the heart of Amsterdam at the same time on a quiet street on a big canal. We had chosen an economy room and may be that is why we had not a view to the canal, but... More

This is the grubbiest, smelliest and least hospitable hotel I've ever stayed in. There were actually urine stains on the mattress and armchair in our room. The shower was so mouldy and dirty it was not useable. The descriptions on the hotel web pages are misleading to the point of outright lying about the accommodation and services. The management are... More

Hotel from the outside looks great.... However the pictures of the hotel rooms do not correspond at all to the actual rooms.... Our room was like a shoe box. Walls so thin that you can hear everything that's going on in the room next door... Try to ring reception most of the time no answer. Wifi mediocre as in most... More

Our experience began before we even left the UK using the online chat service on the hotels website to get some information regarding the area, the facilities, and transport links from the airport to the hotel. All of which were answered without complaint and were in perfect English, making our life that bit less stressful when arriving in Amsterdam. When... More
