Very unfriendly staff at front desk. Canal facing rooms are directly above a "coffee shop," so expect marijuana odors all day and night. Non-canal facing rooms face a brick wall. Stylish hotel at a nice location. I stayed for a weekend with a friend traveling to Amsterdam and she liked it very much, too. Small rooms but no reason to take away comfort.
