It is often difficult to find a hotel in Europe for 2 adult and one teenage kid. In searching for a place to stay, I stumbled upon Prinsenhuis. We stayed at the Tea Leaf apartment which is largest for 4 people. The location couldn't be more perfect. 10-20 minutes walking distance each direction to all of the attractions. It is... More

Fantastic welcome from the owner Edwin, chilled beers and rose in the fridge ( And a lovely rose at that ) We were 3 girls looking for a good location and somewhere nice to live for a couple of nights and we picked the winning apartment. Big windows opening out onto the canal so you can soak up the ambience... More

Me and two friends stayed here for 2 nights. We paid roughly 130 euro each and were welcomed with wine and beer on arrival. Great big bathroom and lovely kitchen area. Great little patio out back. Only problem bed does not accommodate 3 as we were told it would! One friend had to sleep on the sofa as if was... More

A group of us stayed at Prinsehuis last week and we occupied all three apartments. We had a fantastic time and a big part of that was staying in such wonderful apartments. They are in a great position to see all that Amsterdam has to offer. We had a great welcome from Edwin, the owner, and he continued to be... More

We stayed just 2 nights in Mandarin and wished it could have been longer. The apartment offered so much more space than a hotel room, along with great facilities e.g. modern and stylish bathroom, comfortable bed, good wifi, plenty of pots and pans. In the end, although we hadn't planned to, we ate in both evenings - after a busy... More

My girlfriend and I have just finishing off a great stay in Amsterdam and at this fantastic apartment! Its been great having a view over the canal and having its own balcony to the rear for quieter moments. We have found ourselves people watching over breakfast rather than venture out to early! We stayed in the Coral room and with... More

We stayed here for two nights with our seven year old daughter. The accommodation was excellent with speedy wi-fi and all you need for a comfortable weekend. The location is great...lovely views and a short walk to great little bar/restaurant and ten minutes into the city...highly recommended..

I have just returned from a very pleasant two night stay at Prinsenhuis. The apartment was comfortable and clean. There's tea, coffee, soft drinks and a bottle of wine provided . The bed was big & comfortable . The sofa bed was the same. The apartments are situated on a lovely , tree lined canal . The owner Edwin was... More

The house Prisenhuis by the side of Canal along Prnsengracht was quit and good accommodation for the family of three. We stayed there for four nights in Coral Apartment Suit in 2nd floor. The location was near to attractions like Rijksmuseum, VanGogh Museum and Parks. Also it is within walk able distance to city center. The apartment was well furnished... More

We booked a romantic weekend at this apartment only to be so disappointed that we relocated to a different hotel. The apartment had not bee cleaned properly with dirty kitchen utensils and spilt food on the oven hob. In addition, there were a number of pubic hairs in the bed. Furniture was also ripped and torn and the bathroom was... More

Dear Trip advisor user, This is a false review. Please read the dates the review is posted and the date the guests stayed. The difference is 5 months. If it was really dirty the guest would send in the review not 5 months later. The review is from Andrew Wright. He is a manager with Deloitte UK. You would expect... More

A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
