This was my second stay at prinsenhuis - amazing as expected! Lovely apartment can't fault anything about it! Great location, walking distance to dam square or a 5 minute tram. The bagel shop on the corner is lovely for breakfast and the supermarket right around the corner is just great and so efficient. Brilliant owner, couldn't be more friendly. Overall,... More

Amazing apartment. The owner, Edwin, is extremely helpful and catered to any of our needs making sure we had a great stay. The coral apartment itself was wonderful. Very luxurious with everything you need. Pictures do not do any justice; it is actually more spacious than it may seem. Bed was brilliant and also the sofa bed was just as... More

Me and a couple of friends booked to stay here in the Mandarin apartment for our city break. There were 3 of us travelling and the apartment was perfect for the 3 of us! The apartment was clean, tidy and looked exactly like it did in the photographs on the website. It came with everything you would need for self... More

We stayed in the tea leaf apartment. There is one bedroom and one living-room with a kitchen (and of course the bathroom). The kitchen is well equipped, so you can prepare meals. There is a supermarket in less than 5 min walk. The owner provided us with a child's crib. The apartment is clean and extremely spacious. There is air-conditioning.... More

We discovered that there are interesting and high quality alternatives to hotels in Amsterdam. The Prinsenhuis owns a beautifully refurbished canal boat called the "Prinsenboot". This has boat has three cabins - The Honeymoon suite, Van Gogh suite and the Tulip suite. All 3 are spacious - around 40sq,m. We booked the van Gogh and Tulip for a weekend. Both... More

It is often difficult to find a hotel in Europe for 2 adult and one teenage kid. In searching for a place to stay, I stumbled upon Prinsenhuis. We stayed at the Tea Leaf apartment which is largest for 4 people. The location couldn't be more perfect. 10-20 minutes walking distance each direction to all of the attractions. It is... More

Fantastic welcome from the owner Edwin, chilled beers and rose in the fridge ( And a lovely rose at that ) We were 3 girls looking for a good location and somewhere nice to live for a couple of nights and we picked the winning apartment. Big windows opening out onto the canal so you can soak up the ambience... More

Me and two friends stayed here for 2 nights. We paid roughly 130 euro each and were welcomed with wine and beer on arrival. Great big bathroom and lovely kitchen area. Great little patio out back. Only problem bed does not accommodate 3 as we were told it would! One friend had to sleep on the sofa as if was... More

A group of us stayed at Prinsehuis last week and we occupied all three apartments. We had a fantastic time and a big part of that was staying in such wonderful apartments. They are in a great position to see all that Amsterdam has to offer. We had a great welcome from Edwin, the owner, and he continued to be... More

We stayed just 2 nights in Mandarin and wished it could have been longer. The apartment offered so much more space than a hotel room, along with great facilities e.g. modern and stylish bathroom, comfortable bed, good wifi, plenty of pots and pans. In the end, although we hadn't planned to, we ate in both evenings - after a busy... More

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
