Just left the Mandarin apartment at Prinsenhuis after a week's stay - work/holiday combo. Great facilities as others have said, but the best part is feeling that you are living in Amsterdam. Clear large window that you can see and hear the life of the city around you from in the background - the tinkle of all the bicycles, the... More

Great location, nice apartment. We stayed in the Mandarin. I think next time we'll try the upper apartments. We stayed for Amsterdam Pride in August 2011 so this review is late. All our sights were within walking distance or a short tram ride away. The owner is very gracious and the parade was at our feet. We felt very much... More

We stayed in the Tea Leaf apartment during the week of the Pride festival. It was a perfect choice and provides an excellent view of the canal parade without battling the crowds for a seat. The apartment itself was perfect. Lots of space, nice kitchen and private (small) balcony overlooking the gardens. Owner/Manager was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely... More

We stayed in the Tea leaf apartment. The views over the canal, the location, the general layout were absolutley fantastic, exactly what we wanted, a romantic little apartment. Quiet, but central, picturesque and somewhere comfortable to sit and relax. Apartment pluses; Great layout, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, senseo coffee machine, breakfast bar, concealed washing machine in bathroom.Good sofa -bit firm. I-pod dock, a godsend.TV and DVD... More

Lots of positive things: free welcome wine/beer/cola, very fast internet, marvelous place, nice and helpful manager. Rooms were equipped with all needed (and some not needed) stuff. Definitely not a place for business travelers or people used to Radisson/Hyatt style/standard. But for this money - perfect choice for some leisure trip to Amsterdam. More

Great communication even before we left the UK, good information about the local area and how to get to the apartment. We had high expectations as we'd read good reviews online and we were not disappointed. The owner met us and explained where everything was and stressed that if we needed anything he was on hand to help. We LOVED... More

Revisited the Prinsenhuis in November and enjoyed my stay once more. Stayed in the Mandarin and the Coral rooms.Edwin the new owner was nice and accommodating. The mandarin is on the ground floor but traffic noise was minimal. Bedroom is in the back and very quiet. Kitchen has pots and pans for cooking.Nicely decorated throughout. TV in living room had... Just came back from a great weekend in Amsterdam. Prinsenhuis has an excellent location, minutes away from the tram station, bakery, restaurants, shops.... Even if you decide to walk, you are literally minutes away from Museumplein, Rijks Museum and Van Gogh Museum, or the Dam Square if you are going in the other direction. We stayed at the Coral apartment... More

Staying at the Prinsenhius is like living in the apartment of your dreams smack bang in the middle of Amsterdam. The idea here seems to be to give you the experience of living in Amsterdam, not being a tourist, and the little extras (like free wifi, a free local phone, cable tv channels and a well outfitted kitchen) achieve exactly...
