Overall an excellent hotel, free internet a bit poor wouldn't want to pay for it, staff very friendly, rooms very clean, although a few thing were left out no hand towels and the mini bar not stocked twice but would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Movenpick at the end of our cruise. It is a very nice hotel, but the details give it a certain attitude. The room was designed for efficiency. Two closets--nice. Sofa in front of the window--nice. Swinging frosted glass door on the bathroom--not so nice. Teeny step-on-to-open trash can in bathroom that wouldn't open or fell over.... More

Great find! Seems to be primarily a cruise hotel we would stay hear again in a heart beat. Great price. Comfortable beds. Nice large bath. Next to the port with a free shuttle to Station Centraal. Tram 26 stops right out front and it's one stop to Sttio Centraal if you prefer. Across from Delirium Cafe Amsterdam (to get your... More

Hotel was not our choice, but it was chosen for us by cruises line. I was not disappointed in the least. It was convenient to every thing, staff was extremely helpful and room was clean. Only complaint was door to bathroom did not lead to any privacy. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Would stay here again!

This is a high quality hotel a stones throw from the cruise departure terminal. Plus, if you are returning from a cruise your luggage can be automatically transferred to the hotel (at least by Celebrity)

Very nice hotel, close to City Center and Central Station. No more than an easy 10 minute walk to all forms of transportation. Staff was very friendly and helpful and all spoke English quite proficiently. I wished I had stayed longer but had a boat to catch the next day.

Great hotel with great views. Fantastic bar across the waters called Delirium bar. 10 minutes walk from central station, but just far enough away for peace and quiet. Had a small problem, which Paulo Kruk sorted out for me.

We were very impressed with this hotel. Having stayed closer to Centraal Station on a previous trip to Amsterdam, we discovered we much prefered this hotel. The hotel is very clean and modern. They offer a free shuttle from Centraal Station that was very helpful. And the staff was wonderful! Everyone we encountered was friendly and pleasant. We had a... More

Our local travel agent picked this hotel for us (prior to our Rhine river trip which began in Amsterdam ). Everything about it was great, starting with the welcome and the gentle but efficient attention from the staff. The views of the Rhine here gave us such a taster of our trip to come. This hotel had a perfect location... More

A second visit to this hotel proved worse than the first... I stayed at the Moevenpick hotel before I took a cruise at the PTA in Amsterdam... My flight from America came in the morning and I made it to the hotel at 10am... Needless to say, the room I had reserved was not available (have you ever heard this... More
