Train station is 15 minutes walk to hotel or take Tram 17(3stops) . This station connects from schiphol airport .Hotel is perfectly situated central to all attractions by foot, and is easily accessible to many restaurants, bars and supermarket. Hotel itsself is secure, very clean with spacious rooms. Breakfast is brought to room to have at ur leisure and is very good.... More

Really spacious, friendly owners with clean rooms and a decent breakfast, TV and fridge! This is great value if you want just a basic hotel in central Amsterdam I would definitely stay again for a trip with friends.

We reserved a family room through Bookings.com, and the hotel decided to cancel our reservation at the last minute because they oversold. We didn't find out until we arrived (very tired from long travel), and it was extremly stressful and frustrating. They didn't explain why they decided to give our reserved room to someone else and only showed us the... More

The room was very small. The bed was a mattress sized lump of rubber and hideously uncomfortable. The window, although closed, had a draft which blew down on my head, so I had to move to the other end, precariously underneath the small and badly installed TV ledge. The radiator didn't work, until I got someone to look at it.... More

The room is not really large, but contains everything! Breakfast is served in room and there's a boiler so you can prepare tea everytime you want! Is really close to the city center (more or less 5 minutes walking ). Prices are good too since it's not so expansive! Only one advice: pay attention to the stairs since are really... More

Had no trouble finding this place from central station and it is only a 10 minute walk. Only a 2 minute walk from Anne Frank House and Dam Square. In amongst lots of the canals and great for cycling! There are a lot of stairs especially if you are on top floor, which we were, but we did not mind... More

Perfect central location and was clean enough. The breakfast each morning was basic but it done the trick! The staff were very friendly and even gave us a room with a balcony, which gave a little extra space as the room was quite small. This is a good hotel for a place to sleep but it is no more than... I stayed there with some friends of mine a couple of years ago. None of us liked the hotel. There is a neverending staircase as soon as you enter the building and the rooms were really small. It seemed to be clean until we found a rat in our room one night. The owner of course agreed to give us... More

Unfortunabely, my experience with Westertoren wasn't good at all. I had to cancel my booking as the flight I was supposed to get was cancelled due to strike. I e-mail the Hotel, but I didn't get any reply. They just got my money from credit card even if I told them that the cancellation wasn't due to my will. Besides,... More
