We stayed 4 nights recently and were so pleased to have chosen Charlotte's quiet B&B over a hotel in the Leidseplein. Instead of going to sleep to the noise of trams, buses and revelers, we went to sleep to the sound of churchbells! We woke to the sounds of birds! It was so peaceful. Yet, very conveniently located -- just... more

Charlotte at Jordaan B&B took great care of us, suggesting restaurants and tram lines, as well as telling us about life in beautiful Jordaan neighborhood of Amsterdam. There are restaurants nearby and a great ice cream place, too. We had a good breakfast each morning. Our room had a view of the canal on a quiet street and a chance... more

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Charlotte is a very attentive hostess, and makes herself available to answer whatever questions you may have. We had a bright room on the first floor. The room itself was spacious enough and we were grateful that there was coffee, tea, kettle and teapot provided. The neighbourhood is quiet, clean safe and... more

We spent three days at the B&B. Its location is ideal in Jordan to walk around all the interesting parts of Amsterdam. Many bars and restaurants close by. Charlotte is very friendly and gives great advises on things to see and do. We enjoyed her hospitality. Breakfast was good, but repetitive. more

B&B Jordaan was everything we hoped for. It was our first time going by the advice of blogs and reviews so we were a bit precautious. We were not disappointed in the least. Excellent location putting everything we wanted to do within walking and public transportation distance, the rooms (we had 2) were very clean and a bit larger than... more

I travelled with two friends and seeking a triple room is not easy but Jordaan was a find. A good location in the lovely Jordaan district. What made this such a lovely experience for us was that our room really became a studio apartment with Charlotte serving us breakfast in our room each morning. All we had to do was... more

Everything is perfect: view, neighbourhood, services (guides, umbrellas, breakfast served in the room, no sound from other rooms), a slight reserve though on the shower in the bathroom. more

Management response from
BBJordaan, owner

This nice group of ladies prefered a shower- curtain instead of the bathrooms full space to shower in. This is the second time that this remark was made since we re-opend after a huge renovation in September. We're happy to know this and to be told also that the showers itself are great. We do keep the shower-curtain idea in...

We enjoyed staying in this familiar place in jordaan quatier. Nice room, friendly hosts, good breakfast, interesting talks and special recommandations concerning our programme. During the night it was a very quiet atmosphere, so we could sleep very good. more
