Stayed in a double room facing the main street. Room is a bit small for 2 huge suitcase. The bed was comfortable enough, the carpet a little dirty with stains and it had a slight musty smell in the room. They were fully booked and so we could not change to a different room. We left the window slightly open... more

Dear traveller, I regret to read your comments about the attitude of our staff. We'll have to work even harder at our slogan Love City Life with our staff, to provide an excellent service to all our guests! Your comments about housekeeping and maintenance are taken seriously to deliver a clean and tidy product in the future. Thank you for...

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Eden Rembrandt Sq for 3 nights as part of our Eurotrip. We were quite skeptical when booking as most hotels in Amsterdam are crappy. This one fit perfectly in our budget (115Euro/night) and had nice reviews and pictures. We arrived to the hotel at 10am just to learn that check-in time was at 3pm.... more

Dear SneakyTravelKitty, Thank you very much for your pleasant review on your recent stay at our hotel. Rooms indeed differ in size and we are happy that our reception staff has transferred you to a more spacious accommodation. We will of course look into the carpet question and the cigarette smoke. Hope to see you soon or friends of yours...

There are many reviews speaking of terrible experiences, they mirror the ones I had at A DIFFERENT EDEN BRANCH (the Eden Hotel Center Amsterdam one, on Nausakade street). This hotel is nice with a very nice breakfast although not a massive choice for sum, its fine for me. The bed was very comfortable and Internet free with LAN cable supplied... more

Well sized room, decorated to a high standard, clean throughout. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom. Smallest window I've ever had in any hotel room - might as well call the room 'windowless'. On the flipside, it was extremely quiet which suited me well. Aircon didn't work and couldn't be fixed for the duration of my stay - got me... more

Dear travellers, We are quite happy about the recommendation we have received. There is apparently work to be done with regards to our attitude towards guests. Whilst we shout our slogan: Love City Life; we have only half delivered what we promise. Next time we try harder. By the way, if you really want to sleep in a windowless room,...

We stayed at the Eden Rembrandt Square for a three day city break between the 28th and 30th August 2009. We are really pleased that we chose this hotel as it satisfied all our needs perfectly. All we wanted was a hotel which was located close to all the city attractions, although not too close to the Red Light District,... more

Eden Hotel is nice. It has one entrance on Rembrantplein and the other side opens onto a canal. I didnt spend much time in the room but it was clean albeit oddly shaped. You have to put your card in the card holder to get power. you get some tv and cable channels in the room and there is a... more

The hotel has a superb location near the Waterloopplein. The lovely market is just around the corner, and you walk to the center in about 5 minutes. The rooms are nicely renovated, the bathroom is big and there are coffee/tea facilities in the room. A few negative points: - When we arrived there was a very long que at the... more

Located within 200 yds of the Rembrandtplein Square. We were assigned to a room and upon arrival the room was noisy as hell due to loud music from the gay pride parade going on that day/night. The hotel staff was very accommodating in getting our room changed to a more quiet room. Overall the room was very nice. It had... more

We booked this hotel but didn't arrive until 11pm ( as notified) to be told they were overbooked & we would be put in the Eden, Amstel, which is the other half of the Rembrandt - the two enterances are seemingly 2 separate hotels. We were told that we were being given an `executive room' with a canal view. Well,... more

I chose this hotel, since it has vacancy in the best season and the price was the most reasonable ( hotel price in Amsterdam was very expensive in high season!!). My room was situated in the 1st floor. View was bad. And dark. Bed was big and high, so available space was small. Room was clean. Close to trum station.... more
