I only stayed for one night, but when my wife and I check in, after having to queue for an hour, was given a single bedded room! We went back down after another 20 min queue and were given another single bedded room! After a lot of fuss and speaking to the manager explaining that we had booked a queen... more

We stayed in a superior room with a baby cot. The room itself was great, the location of the hotel is also very good. The not so fun part was the staff - they did not help us with our luggage, not knowledgeable about attractions, and did not want even to make change for our large bills. more

The Hotel main lobby is located in the back of the Rembrandt Square, but it also has an entrance to the street that will take you to that Square. With a canal just outside the street (on the other entrance), it has a great view. Friendly neighbourhood, with a little bit of everything that Amsterdam has to offer you nearby.... more

Well, there are many good things to say about Eden Rembrandt square and hardly any negative observations come to mind. First, the location is as good as it can be. It's a wee bit off the crowds near Railway station but the tram which stops right outside gets you there in no time, so you can continue to Schiphol or... more

Had a great stay in The Eden...Thought we'd give Amsterdam another try, as we previously went on our 2nd wedding anniversary, and The Belga Hotel was a nightmare... We did much prefer this location just off Rembrandt square, lovely place good atmosphere, and not to far away from all main attractions, coffee shop just up the road so you can't... more

The good— 1. great location 2. Rooms are modern and clean, furnishings are well kept, clean, crisp, modern. 3. Attached to the hotel is a Brasserie Flo. The service is really lousy but the food's pretty good and it's convenient. 4. There's Internet in the rooms for a fee. The bad: 1. Noisy— Across the street there is a construction... more

I recently stayed at the Eden Rembrandt Square in Amsterdam for a weekend. We arrived several hours prior to check-in. The hotel had a room available, but only at an upgraded rate. As we had just flown over from the States on a red eye, we gladly paid for the upgrade. The room was a decent size and the beds... more

Design wise, hotel is quite simple and minimalist with simple lobby and check in area. Does not have that homey feel, but it doesnt really matter since it is clean and quite central in location. A few feet away from Rembrandt square. The hotel also connects to its sister hotel, so you can exit the property another way, by the... more

I just got back from a 3 night stay at the Eden Rembrandt Square Hotel. I thought the hotel was nice, although I wouldn't rate it 4 stars. Like everybody else says, its in a great location. The 4 and 9 tram stop is 1/2 a block away. The Canal Bus pick-up is just across the canal behind the hotel.... more

Top location, within walking distance to every part of the city - it's between 10 and 20 minutes' leisurly walk to the museum quarter, centraal station, bistros, restaurants, bars, cafes... you name it. Fantastic access nearby both by metro and tram. Rooms were extremely clean and well kept. Only minor "fault" is that the bathrooms are not terribly private due... more
