Stopped here twice, if I had chosen wouldn't have gone back the second time. The first room needed a lot of work. One pillow smelled so bad I left it on the floor. The bed was so soft it was uncomfortable . The ensuite was separated from the room by a curtain. My second room was a windowless cupboard. I... More

The location is awesome, you can do everything on foot. I don`t care about luxury but this hotel is very poor, the bathrooms and the bedrooms are ``ok``, but they are not good. The free breakfast is good.

Stayed in this hostel and was overall happy. Easy to find, great location and breakfast was nice and filling every morning. Good free wifi. Stairs are very steep but the owner helped us get our luggage to the room so wasn't really an issue. The hostel is on the Rembrantplein so good nightlife, but noise wasn't an issue - probably... It is lucky that this place is in a good location. Right close to Rembrandt square. Though this did mean it was very noisy. I suspect it is the most run down building in all of Amsterdam. The room smelt mouldy when we arrived. The staff were friendly enough though. Only has basically toast and cereal for breakfast. Overall stay... More

Me and four of my friends stayed at this hotel, we paid just under 100 euros each for 3 nights here so the value was fantastic. You get a comfortable, clean bed with a nice big bathroom that includes a shower, bath etc. If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful place to stay, this is ideal. You have... More

En very good accommodation for a budget tourist travel to Amsterdam. An excellent location on a picturesque canal near Rembrandt Square, easy access by public transport, a lot of cafes and restaurants withing 5 minutes' walking distance, many famous Amsterdam's landmarks easily accessible on foot. The staff was friendly and helpful, the place is clean and offers a comfort fairly... More

This hostel is suitable for low budget travelers but I have to say that I would never come back there. Only plus of this hostel is location, nothing else. The room had dirty walls and actually I am surprised that is still open. It was difficult to fall aslepp there because I could hear noise all the time.

The hostel is filthy, death trap from start to finish. We stayed in room 5, top floor. The stairs as always in Amsterdam are steep, that's ok but they are disgustingly filthy and rotten, not safe at all as there is not much to hold onto. The room is also filthy, dirty walls, ours even had old dried blood on... More

If you're used to 5star hotels then you should avoid this place like the plague. It is adequate for budget travellers and young couples. The rooms are basic and have a wash basin but the bathroom is shared. The doors and walls are pretty thin too so you can hear pretty much everything that goes on. The hotel is located... More
