Really clean rooms, central location & friendly staff for a very reasonable price. The rooms are a bit small but that's to be expected for the price. The shared bathrooms are spotless and there are loads of them, the free breakfast is also really good. The only problem is the stairs are pretty annoying if you are staying on the top... More

Right in the middle of everything! Lovely hotel, staff very helpful and we ordered a room at the back to avoid the noise from the square and it was perfect. The square is hectic and comes to life at night.

The good: close to all the major parts of Amsterdam The bad: THEY DOUBLE-CHARGED FOR THE ROOM Bottom line: go somewhere else! The hotel itself is dingy. The bedding was dirty, the bathroom had parts of the ventilation left in the sink. (Don't worry, I'll move it myself). It's in a decent spot in Amsterdam so worth a bit of... More

I stayed one night at this hotel. It was basic but the rooms were clean. However, on waking up on the Sunday morning, one of my room mates (we were in a room of three) was covered, head to foot in bite marks. We then saw a bedbug in her bed! Myself and the other girl thought we had been... More

Rather basic hotel in the middle of one of the busiest squares in Amsterdam so location is great with restaurants and nightlife all around. But that can be rather noisy. Had a room with three single beds in it. Each narrow but clean and comfortable. Washbasin in room but shower and loo down the hall. Not far but rather old... More

We booked this hotel last minute and it was better than we expected. Perfectly located for young people (you can walk to every spot in Amsterdam and the Rembrandt Square is full of young people at the evening), very clean and the receptionist are very helpful. However the WIFI was not working the whole time and sometimes the evening clerk... More

Came here with my boyfriend and stayed 3 nights. Was good value for money and in a great area. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean. There are shared bathrooms, but this has never been something to bother me so I really don't have any complaints! I've been to Amsterdam a few times and would definitely consider going back to Rembrandt... More

I realize this will never be a 5 star hotel because of the stairs, the shared bath, and the potential for noise but my view out my window, overlooking Rembrandt Square was fantastic and well worth the journey up to get it. My room couldn't have been cleaner, the staff was terrific, and I never ran into the folks with... More

When I first started looking at hotels in Amsterdam, I was in shock by how expensive most of the hotels were and almost reconsidered going at all. However, I came across Rembrandt Square Hotel, and although I will admit that I was unsure about the whole shared bathroom idea, I'm glad I chose this hotel. The staff was so incredibly... More
