The breakfast was in a cafe adjacent to the hotel. The wifi network is poor and didn't work in the two days I stayed there. The rooms were compact and cozy. They even provided coffee and tea. The hotel also has a lot of discount coupons for things to do in Amsterdam. The staff is supportive and friendly. Breakfast is... More

Very clean hotel, comfy beds and adequate amenities. Shower and toilet shared as stated but literally just outside room and only shared by three rooms and never saw anyone else using. Were also very clean. staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast was good although served in club next door one morning which bit odd but not too bad. Can hear... More

I have never in all my 23 years been so insulted to be provided with this accomodation. I came for a peaceful break for 4 nights......4 nights which turned out to be zero air conditioning, I thought at one point my own skin was going to peel off. Toilets which I can only describe as a Dutch sewerage plant, stunk... More

Stayed at this property twice. For 4 nights back in May 2011, and again for 1 night in May 2015. Location was PERFECT in every sense. Plenty of food and amenities around that you can literally roll out of bed and onto the street right into the action. The Rembrandtplein tram stop is just 30 steps away from the property.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend, basic but ideal for a short stay. Rooms are small, however, we did not spend a lot of time in our room so size was decent. Great value for money. Breakfast is served from 9:00-11:30 downstairs in club smokey, again, very basic variety however does the trick! Cereal, toast, tea and coffee... More

The Rembrandt Square hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the nightlife scene of Amsterdam. There are plenty of cafes, bars, pubs and nightclubs right below the hotel and hence is a great place for young people. Its a good, basic hotel and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we checked in. The only issue here is... More

I stayed here with 5 of my work colleagues all nurses for the first time in Amsterdam. We were all made welcome by the staff. Rooms were clean. Beds comfy shared facilities not a problem and very clean. I was in room 21 a twin overlooking Rembrandt Square. Noisy in the evening but we did not mind as we had... More

Close to cafe's, restaurants, shopping, and thankfully bus and tram stops. Room had comfortable beds and shared bathroom was very clean! Stairs were a little difficult(steep) to carry large backpacks while the walls and railings were being repainted. Breakfast was nice to have while on a budget trip but I really only remember toast and cereal being offered at the... More

stayed for 3 nights with my teenager. great location - all walking distance and the tram is just across the square. I don't mind sharing a bathroom - facilities were always immaculately clean. Breakfast was good. It's not a 5 star - but it was super reasonable. One tip: when booking ask to have a room facing the back -... More

service, attitude, clean and definetly worth it! one to use as an example: We booked a taxi from the front desk for our departure time, how ever, the taxi didn't show up, meaning we had to get another one, wich the older man in the front desk called for, and waited for, with us, outside, wich is fantastic service, since...
