We spent four nights and found Paul and Karen to be very helpful and thoughtful hosts - including Champagne for our anniversary. The location is extremely close to Vondel Park and good neighborhood restaurants with easy tram and bus connections to all parts of town and for day trips. We had a quick orientation to town and the neighborhood on... More

Spent three nights with my family of five in the garden and canal view rooms. Paul and Karen were wonderful hosts and very helpful when our travel plans had to change due to the rail strike in Belgium. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a lot of space for everyone. The beds and pillows were soft and perfect... More

We have stayed here twice. The first time my husband and I came for our 25th anniversary. The second time we brought our kids after our son graduated from college. Our daughter brought her husband along. What you will notice immediately. The place is spotless. I dare you to find a dust crumb. All the rooms are decorated in vibrant... More

I stayed in May 2014 and can highly recommend this B&B. My stay was quite a long one (11 nights) and when I made an initial enquiry they recommended one of the Tulips studios, which is around the corner from the main B&B premises but owned and run by the same people. It's in a character-filled building on a quiet... More

Delightful B&B just west of the large Vondelpark in a local neighbourhood area rather than tourist one- yet still full of life and character with a canal, and good restaurants/ cafés/bars and food shops. Easy parking on street in front of B&B ( free on Sunday/ bank hols) , and 5 mins walk to tram stops into old city or... More

Very easy to get Into the city centre, 2 km walk through Vondelpark or a 5 minute walk to the tram. A great variety of restaurants are nearby we would recommend this B&B... More

My husband and I recently spent 6 nights at this excellent property at the beginning of a European tour. Paul was a very gracious and helpful host in every way. It is conveniently located for walking or trams into the city, with small supermarkets and coffee shops, cafés, etc close by. The breakfasts were a treat and having access to... More

An excellent and comfortable place to explore Amsterdam. Loved the proximity to Vondelpark. Room lovely, daily 'surprise' breakfasts delicious. Very good place to stay. Paul and Karen could not do more to make you comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here for a week. The room (garden room) is light and airy and has a small garden outside. It is quite big enough for two. A bit more cupboard space would be useful, in addition to the curtained off shelves and hanging space. The hot water takes a while to come through but is very... More

My mother and I stayed there for 5 nights in April. Paul and Karen were such good hosts. The breakfasts were delicious served with such friendliness by the housemen! The rooms were clean, airy and comfortable with little touches of hospitality...the bookmark of tulips in my mom's book, the chocolates on our pillows and the real flowers! I will come... More
