My mother and I stayed there for 5 nights in April. Paul and Karen were such good hosts. The breakfasts were delicious served with such friendliness by the housemen! The rooms were clean, airy and comfortable with little touches of hospitality...the bookmark of tulips in my mom's book, the chocolates on our pillows and the real flowers! I will come... More

We stayed there in for a few days. I have been traveling around Europe and this place was the nicest Ive found for a my budget. Beautiful and big room, the place is just spotless. You have to share bathroom but only with another room, so it wasn't a problem at all. You can use the kitchen at any time,... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in March and it was a great experience. Paul and Karen went out of their way to make us welcome and to make the stay as pleasant as possible. There were lots of nice touches like cakes left out in the afternoon to have with tea or coffee. At the same... More

Stayed in October 2013 for 5 days. Paul knows his stuff and guides you to his place perfectly. The place is beautiful red and white decor, with tastefully done furnishings, simple yet comfortable. We choose the room right on top, as we wanted a private bathroom. (you have to request for it, as quite a few rooms have shared bathroom... More

After a steaming concert of the Desert Touareg Band Tinariwen in Paradiso, I had the pleasure of staying the night over in "Bed and Breakfast Paul&Karen. What a beautiful location near the Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Comfortable room and very friendly owners, who took care off me like I was home, NO even better than that! In the morning they surprised... My mom and I came off season and were pleasantly surprised to receive the Canal House, more of a flat than a room. It was clean and had everything we needed. Perfect for someone with allergies: no pets, no smoke, no carpet, no stairs. Paul allowed us to check in early as we had 9 hour jetlag, and he gave... More

This was a nice clean and reasonably priced B&B. Friendly and comfortable. Also spacious - unusual for Amsterdam. You have to leave your shoes at the door. Not sure why as the carpets are not that nice or new. We stayed in the Garden Room which was very nice and airy a plus was sitting outside in a courtyard. Good... More

We visit Amsterdam often as my husband's family is there and found this b and b online. The location is very good for a neighborhood ambiance and the owners couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The grocery store down the street and the many restaurants nearby make it a very good area for visitors. . The bar/restaurant next door was... More

We stayed at this B&B for 4 nights this September. We arrived in cold drizzling rain in the late afternoon. We found the B&B with no problem following the directions Paul had provided. He showed us our room and turned on the heat as soon as he saw how cold we were and poured us an apirtif glass of red... More

Nothing to complain about - everything to rave about! The hosts were so friendly upon our arrival. Gave us a brief tour of the room, some tips on restaurants and getting around, and set us on our way. Cookies and coffee available in the room every morning, deck out back to sit on - it was great. Sure there were... More
