Thank you once again to Trip Advisor which helped me to book this lovely friendly hotel although not in the Amsterdam town itself the hotel has very easy access via trams or local bus service. The hotel staff are very attentative to your needs and have plenty of travel information about trips which can be booked there and travelling around... More

A nice hotel with kind stuff and and amazing breakfast. When you are going as turist, position is not so great because you need to travel about 20 min with tram until you reach center. Parking place is 19 euro per day, that seems a bit too much but it is very easy to reach the hotel from highway. Rooms... More

Stayed here recently for 3 nights on a business trip to a company that was 3 minutes walk away so from that perspective, it was good. However, as per previous reviews, it isnt close to the centre of Amsterdam and there is little around it ie no shops, cafes, restaurants so you really are "out in the sticks" I had... More

This hotel is not central but the transport links are excellent and you can buy your tram tickets at reception. The staff are extremely helpful, courteous and polite. We were helped by a young man on checking in and out, during the latter he realised we were on our way to the airport and as it was late evening/early morning... More

The Artemis was hard to find at first and we wondered where the hell we were as it was a Sunday and everywhere was deserted, however The Artemis caters to the huge business park that surrounds it and was a great find away from the hustle & bustle of the town. the staff could not have been more helpful &... I have stayed twice at this hotel and would recommend it to everybody. The location is not only great for those doing business but also for tourists who want quality without paying top mark for a centre hotel. Easy access to transport, tram line 2 which takes you to tge centre of Amsterdam in 15 minutes. Rooms in the hotel... More

The rooms are quite nice, the location OK if you are doing business in the neighborhood. But the staff is not especially welcoming, the cleaning is not so good and the breakfast expensive. I would expect more considering the room prices. Also my shower was so clogged there was dirt coming up the sewer- disgusting.

On arriving at the hotel we were impressed with how light and roomy the reception area was and the various art on display. We particularly liked the restaurant terrace an ideal place to sit and relax any time of day.Room was clean and comfortable and we found the fridge useful.A good selection of food for breakfast and excellent well presented and... We chose to visit Amsterdam for our honeymoon, and can honestly say it was a great decision. I chose the hotel Artemis (The Dutch design Hotel) because it sounded quirky and it was not exorbitantly priced. Upon arrival I was slightly concerned as the area appeared to be an edge of town business park, and the hotel was bang in... More

We booked this hotel as a 4* mystery hotel so we felt we got very lucky with how lovely it was. We only paid £37.50 each per night with breakfast as we obviously didn't know until we had booked where we were going although knowing it was 4* we didn't mind. The reception service was amazing, one of the staff... More
