This hotel is located in a business district on the far south side of the city. It’s a good fifteen minute taxi ride from the airport which cost us €50 and another ten minute car journey into the centre which costs around €20-€25. On a busy Friday evening the wait for a taxi to arrive for a trip to the... More

The hotel looks pretty new and clean. Rooms are nice, but not very big for a 4 star hotel 6 km from the center. A thing I appreciated was the really fast elevator, and the ice machine in front of my room; while something i didn't appreciate was that everything is so expansive there... About 13 euro for a beer... More

Booked this hotel though booking.com and it said that everything had been paid for. When I arrived I 'hadn't paid my taxes' so had to pay an extra €30 on top of my €320. Location not good for people who plan on being in the city centre for most of the days. About 25 mins on the tram depending on... More

Room was pretty nice and it was kept clean. Coffee in the rooms was awful and the staff seemed unhappy that we didn't buy a drink every time we went to smoke on the terrace. The heaters and lights on the terrace were not available. Location was fine if you brought a seven day pass for the trams which cost... More

Although this hotel is 30minutes by bus or tram +10 minute walk to the centre of Amsterdam it is worth the effort.Very good breakfast and modern hotel with lifts to the 8 floors. The 195 bus from Schipol will take you to the hotel but not at the weekend. On the return journey to Schipol get the bus/tram into Amsterdam station... More

Easy to drive to (about 1.5 hours from Hook of Holland) and easy public transport to Amsterdam centre. Very good staff - we arrived at about 9.30am and were able to book into our room. Nice place to be.

We have just returned from a long weekend break at the Artemis The location did seem daunting at first but the distance to the centre was really only short by tram bus or train. The journey in and out was a pleasant trip with lots to see, quite safe even late at night. The dutch people were very kind helpful... More

This hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, it had everything under one roof and is very modern. However the only problem we found is that it cost a fortune to get into the city center and it were hard work to find
