I'm cheap....but I do have my standards when it comes to cleanliness & service. Every time I stayed at the Tourist-Inn I was very happy with just that and the price, considering how centrally located it is. I stayed 3 times in total, so it could not have been luck! Location: It is a less then a 10 minute walk... more

I stayed here with a friend in March. I requested a room with a window. We were given a room on the top floor - which had a double bed AND a balcony which overlooked the city. It was small, but basic. Too be honets me and my friends are 19 and wnr tfor the ngiht life. we hardly were... more

We're a young couple and have stayed in Amsterdam 3 times. This hotel although it was budget - meaning the room was small and the breakfast was basic and it was a good price - it was a great place to stay for it's location. It is very central and is a great place to sightsee from. The room was... more

The notice on the lift door reads. "No more than 3. Believe us you don't want to get stuck in here" Exactly the same warning should apply to anyone thinking of using this dirty, uncared -for dump. The location is good, the hotel is quite new, but it's just not maintained. We had the "best" room in the hotel complete... more

Spent just one night in a double room (paid 70 EUR). Not too many reasons to complain about this low budget hotel; the only big minus was NOISE from the street. Apart from that think it's quite a reasonable hostel right in the centre of Amsterdam and a 5-minute walk to the central station. Quite surprised to find a LCD... more

I can only speak for the rooms at the front of the hotel, as the busy road in front makes it impossible to have a decent nights sleep or that mid-afternoon kip that we all enjoy from time-to-time. Saying that, the ignorance of the guest making their way through the corridors at night didn't help either! Though our bedroom served... more

We stayed at the Tourist Inn for two weekdays during May 2006. The hotel is only a five to ten minute walk from Central Station and a block off of three different tram lines which got you to and back from most everywhere you would want to go. The location was also a good launching point for the Jordaan area,... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Tourist Inn in Amsterdam in Match of 2006. The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were very helpful! The best thing about the hotel is its location, it is just off the maibn street the Damrak and it is set right in the middle of the city. Everywhere is walking... more

We (a couple with a 22 month old toddler) stayed at the Tourist Inn for 3 nights in early September 2004, and can highly recommend it. The price was very reasonable at 60 Euro per night, and included a satisfactory breakfast (toast, ham, cheese, jams, boiled eggs, coffee, juice). Our room (1 double bed) was very small, but modern and... more
