We booked the hotel through the NH web site after reading the positive reveiws that have been posted. All in all the hotel was adequate but was a bit dissappointed with a few aspects, firstly we were left a bit miffed by the room service, after ringing down for a pot of tea we were brought up a couple of... We stayed here for 2 nights in early December and cannot fault it at all. We were given a room on the 7th floor with a canal view and floor to ceiling windows with great views over the rooftops of Amsterdam. The room was clean and spacious with a nice selection of bathroom products and a tea/coffee tray. The reception... More

This was not a first choice, but was near where our friends were staying. First off this is a modern purpose built hotel and is very well furnished and decorated. Staff were very polite, friendly i couldn't fault them. Our room a superior one on the 6th floor was huge and extremely comfortable and so quiet! The Tram lines 16... More

Good feel about the place the minute you walk in. Bright, modern reception area. Staff at all times very couteous and helpful. Room was fabulous - incredibly comfortable bed. We had very large room on sixth floor with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the canal. Admittedly not much to see beyond that apart from a few blocks of rooftops. It... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Quiet area, but not too far from the centre. I think we had the best room. Very Clean, massive bed!

Very Nice Hotel. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was large and well equipped. We were in room 735 which was on the corner of the top floor and overlooked the river and toward the rooftops of the Rijksmuseum. Couldn't have been more pleased. Booked on Venere.com

My boyfriend and I decided on this hotel after reading the reviews on this website. The only downside about this hotel is that it is not located in central Amsterdam...but mind you, I've heard that's a godsend. I did try to follow the directions which were given on this site but to no success - it actually added to the... More

Myself and a friend stayed here for one night in February 06. We were put up there by KLM as their flight cancellation from the UK to Amsterdam meant we missed our connection to Bangkok. Upon arrival the girl at the reception was very professional, and took our bags. We were allocated our rooms, these were very nice, mine over... More

This was a lovely hotel. It was central enough and easily accessible to the hussle and bussel by tram service. Everything one could ask for was in the vicinity of the hotel also- coffee shops, a small inconspicuous red light area at night (if viewing such is on your tourist 'to do' list), museums, lovely park, supermarket, open street market-... Due to flight schedules from the US, we arrived at 9:30am and were able to check into our room within about an hour with no extra charge. The room is an average European size in a contemporary style. Great bed. Our room was exactly like the website photo with big windows that actually open. The staff was always helpful and... More
