This is not a traditional Bed & Breakfast, more a short term self catering rental. The house is located in an easily accessible and attractive quiet suburb close to the centre on Amsterdam. This was the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in. So comfortable and lovely, every little attention to detail, and Scott was the most friendly and welcoming host you could hope for. First: We will come back!!! It's fantastic at B&B City Fields. The room and the bathroom are modern/ new, clean and comfortable. The room is big and the bed is extremly comfortable and big in size (180x180 cm), too. This place is fantastic! Modern, spacious, a touch British, the 2 guestrooms upstairs are smacking new, extremely comfortably, with every 4 to 5 star amenity provided. The hosts, Scot and his friend Francesco, are absolutely wonderful, caring, and helpful - offering personal pickup & drop-off (we were carrying heavy luggage), renting bikes to us at dirt cheap rates, and helping... I stayed at City Fields for a weekend in Feb and have to say, it was excellent. The location is away from the centre, which I loved. It's an easy and enjoyable 15-20 minute cycle into the centre, so you can avoid the hoardes of tourists and the noise in the centre, but still get out and about easily. City... More
