Highly recommend this hotel and wold stay there again if in Amsterdam. What we liked : Spacious bedroom with large bed (6ft x 6ft) which was soft and comfortable. Despite central city location room was very quiet. We had requested a quiet room and got one (208 at rear of hotel). Decent bathroom with large shower and generous with toiletries.... More

We stayed at this hotel during a short midweek break to Amsterdam. The hotel is located only a few minutes stroll from Dam Square which was convenient for our needs. Although building work was ongoing in the street outside, it did not affect our visit at all, except for the entrance to the hotel being blocked occasionally, but an alternate... More

Hotel V Nesplein is a perfect home base for visiting Amsterdam. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is centrally located, making it an easy walk to many local historic attractions and neighborhoods ... and only a few minutes away from tram lines that can take you in ten or more directions if your adventures take you... Very nice hotel in the middle of Amsterdam, but still away from the most serious tourist streets. Easy access to the city center in beautiful hotel. The price is in the high range, but definetely worth it! Will definetely stay here again when in Amsterdam!

The hotel is very stylish & good value considering this. Location is perfect-close to the red light district & Dam square. A few minor issues-the electrical lead on the kettle in the room was so short it meant having to boil it on the floor by the plug socket so I was glad we didn't have children as this would... More

We had a nice room on the first floor close to everything. The staff is very nice. And a fantastic surprise they offer the breakfast untill 4 pm!!!! The neigbourhood was quiet in the night. The Royal palace is 2 minutes on foot, the red light district 5 minutes, the Van Gogh Museum 20 minutes...

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, the staff, accommodation and food were excellent. The quirky decor, spotless airy bedrooms and scrumptious breakfast all assisted in what was a fabulous stay!! The staff were friendly ,helpful and informative . Both my friends and I commented on what we feel to be a hidden gem of a hotel in a fantastic... More

The highlight of the hotel was the classy, industrial chic look of the hotel. Loved it!! The room was large and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space and shelves. I loved the look of the bathroom. The amenities were complete with complimentary water and nespresso capsules as well as a small electric kettle. Wifi signal was strong and so was... More

My wife and I have spent four nights at this "hip" Amsterdam hotel. Its central location makes it ideal for getting around the city. Our room was very modern and comfortable with all the usual facilities and was serviced each day. The food in the restaurant was superb but you need to reserve a table as it is very popular... More

Goods: - affordable - good breakfast - friendly and helpful staff - nice bathroom - soft bed Less goods: - no parking close, no affordable parking (there is valet parking though); getting there with luggage and own car is problematic - rooms are basic, the whole is a bit dark and gloomy - trucks often block the narrow street -...
