We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, the staff, accommodation and food were excellent. The quirky decor, spotless airy bedrooms and scrumptious breakfast all assisted in what was a fabulous stay!! The staff were friendly ,helpful and informative . Both my friends and I commented on what we feel to be a hidden gem of a hotel in a fantastic... More

The highlight of the hotel was the classy, industrial chic look of the hotel. Loved it!! The room was large and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space and shelves. I loved the look of the bathroom. The amenities were complete with complimentary water and nespresso capsules as well as a small electric kettle. Wifi signal was strong and so was... More

Dear Sir/Madam, We appreciate your very kind review and nice words about the hotel. Great to hear you like the style, look and amenities. Please accept our apology for any inconvience during your stay. We do our very best to avoid any noise for our guests, however at this moment the city is renewing the sewer pipe in our small... My wife and I have spent four nights at this "hip" Amsterdam hotel. Its central location makes it ideal for getting around the city. Our room was very modern and comfortable with all the usual facilities and was serviced each day. The food in the restaurant was superb but you need to reserve a table as it is very popular... More

Goods: - affordable - good breakfast - friendly and helpful staff - nice bathroom - soft bed Less goods: - no parking close, no affordable parking (there is valet parking though); getting there with luggage and own car is problematic - rooms are basic, the whole is a bit dark and gloomy - trucks often block the narrow street -... I could not fault a single thing at this hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights March 2015. Went for my partners birthday. We wrote on the special requests a room on a high floor with a bath. Upon arrival, hotel lobby was very nice and was easy to locate just off Dam Square. The guy on reception asked us would... More

This is one of the best receptions I have experienced in a hotel. Check in took just over a minute. The staff there are extremely helpful with all things yet in no way stuffy. Building has a chic modern industrial look. Lovely restaurant/bar which feels like being in someone's home rather than a hotel. The room was totally adequate. Good decoration... More

We were frankly stunned by the genuine friendliness of the wonderful staff. I hardly want to think about the predicament of accidentally leaving our passports and iPad etc in the taxi from airport - and while not having a clue which company, the fab staff switched into 'Mission Impossible' mode and took all my stress away. Can't thank them enough... More

Hotel V Nesplein is a very enjoyable, informal hotel, near the main things in the lovely Amsterdam. I got used to visit Reiksmuseum, Stedelijk and Van Gogh´s, getting a tram near by the hotel or just walking. The room is quite, very comfortable, has good air conditioning and two good showers. The staff are friendly and helpful and make you... More

Decor of the rooms and the hotel itself was very impressive, location was unbeatable, friendly, helpful staff and spotless room. We did not try the restaurant, but the food looked very appetising. The ONLY fault with this hotel is the building work across the road which is very noisy early in the mornings, once this is completed there won't be... More
