My boyfriend and I stayed there for three nights in May. Our jobs keep us travelling and in leading hotels around the world. So we really wanted something unique, romantic and relaxing. Hotel V just blew us away. We were very impressed with our welcoming and by how all the staff are friendly and always willing to help even for... More

We could not have been happier with this hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully furnished and decorated with a comfortable king-size bed. Lovely bathroom with powerful shower and great bath products, slippers and dressing gowns provided. They provided a large camping cot for our 20-month old. Very close to Dam Square but also... More

We (a mature couple) stayed for a week in this modern, comfortable, and centrally-located hotel. While we usually tend toward a more classic decor, the industrial modern actually worked quite well. Staff were wonderfully on-the-ball and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was well worth including, and dining room meals were wonderful. We unhesitatingly recommend the V.

This hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Amsterdam because it is only a few metres off Dam Square and in the heart of everything! It's absolute stand out appeal is the quality and friendliness of its staff - they are all wonderful from the moment you check in! Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable and our superior room... More

Although not cheap (169 euro per couple per night without breakfast on Sep) we were really happy with our choice. The location is the best - 3 minutes walk and you are on Dam square. On 4 days we stayed we never used the public transport... Every site in the city is reachable by walking. The hotel is packed with... More

I loved this hotel which I found on tripadvisor. It is centrally located yet manages to feel secluded as it is on a side street. Everything is perfect in this hotel, the decor is sleek and comfortable with subdued lighting and flickering candlelit customised candleholders that completely create a relaxed mood. The bedroom was much bigger than I expected and... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, it was all I expected and more! The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Beautiful spacious modern rooms, very clean and quite. The hotel is located just a block away from the red lights district and close to many amenities. I would definitly stay at this hotel again!

This hotel is hidden away down a quiet street. We had room 110 and booked through expedia which was a terrible experience (I'll come onto that later). The bathroom was basic with just a shower. The bed was very comfortable but I had rips in my sheets which was a little disappointing. There was no noise which was lovely and... More
