I was there for one night on a business trip. Good design. My room was not very large but practical and modern style. The restaurant in the ground floor was outstanding. Staff was not very enthusiastic but professional.

The hotel might be a good choice for Monday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant on the ground floor has a DJ and terribly horribly loud music. You can feel the bass pounding in your chest. Very poor design when it comes to soundproofing of the rooms. Do not visit unless you plan to stay out at the... More

Well, we didn't get a welcome glass of anything! The hotel turns out to be a 'boutique' hotel, which for some reason seems to mean they have to be dark and gloomy inside, with black-painted corridors and dark/black being an overall theme. As often happens, design has triumphed over practicality. A beautifully designed wash basin, elegant to the eye, but... More

Great position - 15 minute walk from Rijksmuseum - close to tram stops Lots of restaurants and bars around & close to street market. Quality finished, well designed rooms with every convenience. Good bar & restaurant. But best of all was the welcoming staff who did everything they could to make your stay pleasant. To the extent of printing boarding... More

The hotel is very conveniently located with two tram lines (16 & 24) passing by the hotel regularly. This makes it both accessible for Dam Square, Central station and the city in general. Staff have fantastic english and are extremely friendly and held our cases both before check in and after check out. The room was compact but nicely decorated,... More

What a great find. We searched hug and low for a hotel and we stumbled on sir Albert. Such a lovely place mixing industrial feel with modern comforts. The staff were fantastic and we particularly enjoyed our welcome glass of prosecco. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The beds were super comfy and it was really convenient for the... More

Modern, cozy and trendy. Nicest welcome from the staff...A+ in attention and the most comfortable bed in the world. The Asian restaurant in the hotel surprised us as well. Made my stay in Amsterdam very joyful. I will be back :)

I stayed here in June with 3 girlfriends and from arrival to departure we could not fault anything. The design of the hotel, the most comfortable beds and the amazing breakfast were all first class. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great area, quite suburban with local bars and restaurants but close to... More

We stayed here for our mini moon and loved every minute of it. The hotel itself is beautiful, the restaurant food was delicious, the room was sumptuous, comfortable, luxurious and stylish. We had an amazing time. The little touches like our free arrival drink, complimentary umbrellas (essential), fantastic staff and room service all made the visit a memorable one and... More

Inspiring hotel with excellent service and staff who all helped to make our first family trip to Amsterdam a memorable one.We were able to walk to museums from the hotel and enjoyed dining locally as there was a great choice of excellent restaurants and cafe bars nearby.
