I recently stayed at the Sir Albert after cycling from London to Amsterdam with a group of friends. We all absolutely loved the place. The front desk were brilliant, helpful and friendly. The rooms were spotless, well designed and attention to detail showed through. An espresso machine in the room is not something I'm used to but a great touch!... More

Stayed here during a conference at the RAI and was not disappointed. The hotel is modern and upscale but I didn't feel like I had to be wearing a tight black T shirt to fit in. The staff was aleays friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and I really enjoyed the breakfast as the restaurant downstairs, which was... More

Beautiful hotel! And just far enough out of the city centre to avoid all the hustle and bustle, but close enough to ride a bicycle to pretty much anywhere within 25 mins. Interiors are lovely and staff are sensational. You can also hire bikes from the hotel, which is handy, though I recommend hiring some from just down the road... More

I booked a room and flight via BA. The hotel is in a nice part of town away from the noisy bars of Dam Square. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The only thing that really did niggle me was the room we were first checked into. I booked a package for a deluxe room which was offered with... More

I was there for one night on a business trip. Good design. My room was not very large but practical and modern style. The restaurant in the ground floor was outstanding. Staff was not very enthusiastic but professional.

The hotel might be a good choice for Monday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant on the ground floor has a DJ and terribly horribly loud music. You can feel the bass pounding in your chest. Very poor design when it comes to soundproofing of the rooms. Do not visit unless you plan to stay out at the... More

Well, we didn't get a welcome glass of anything! The hotel turns out to be a 'boutique' hotel, which for some reason seems to mean they have to be dark and gloomy inside, with black-painted corridors and dark/black being an overall theme. As often happens, design has triumphed over practicality. A beautifully designed wash basin, elegant to the eye, but... More

Great position - 15 minute walk from Rijksmuseum - close to tram stops Lots of restaurants and bars around & close to street market. Quality finished, well designed rooms with every convenience. Good bar & restaurant. But best of all was the welcoming staff who did everything they could to make your stay pleasant. To the extent of printing boarding... More
