After booking the hotel the other day, I started to question whether or not the room was going to be large enough. I started e-mailing the hotel with questions about the size and type of beds they had in their rooms and the size of the room as well - we had booked a standard double room with a queen... More

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of west Europe trip. though little off the main city center but a real gem. The hotel is ok as per design but it becomes excellent due to its staff who would go out of their way to help us if need arises. Free minibar is a real add on. The entry could... More

Very nice place to stay and visit Amsterdam. In 5 minutes walking you can easily reach the Leidsplein. The Dam Square it's a bit far but the hotel is very nice, clean and new. Close the reception it's available to have coffee and cookies for free at anytime. Huge pillows and very comfortable bed The only bad thing was that... More

My wife & I, have just returned from a 3 night stay, at the Amadi, in Amsterdam. I chose this hotel, mainly as it was in a quieter location, it is fairly modern, and it was easy to get about, with trams right outside and within walking distance to most places we wanted to visit, and finally, as it had... We have just finished a lovely breakfast with superb eggs cooked how we liked, a truly excellent selection of real breads, ham cheese, fruit and musli also available. Oh and real orange juice not the fake stuff! The staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. Location wise this is really only a ten minute tram ride from the centre... More

Kind of awkward to find the first time but don't let that discourage you. There is signage all over the building so I didn't get lost trying to find reception as its not on the first floor. This hotel is great for solo travelers....clean, secure, quiet, residential area, modern and off the beaten touristy path but tram is right in... More

This relatively new hotel has a great location, close to the museums and close to Jordan, with all its small cafes, restaurants and independant shops. To add the positive things... friendly staff, free mini bar, Nespresso machine and relatively big bathrooms. It kind of ends there. Our room was extremely small and impractical. Minibar only had a few items and... More

I stayed here for one night as a solo traveller. The lady at the reception was extremely helpful and personally showed me to my room. She also provided extra conditioner and a toothbrush as I had forgot mine. The room was adequate although unfortunately the lighting was very poor. The location was great. I was in town for the Amsterdam... More

The hotel lobby is on the 4th floor of the building, we had to carry all our luggage all the way up and down at check-out, no bellboy to assist with the luggage which was completely uncomfortable. The room is very small for the price we paid, the window was small with no view whatsoever. Airconditioner was not working properly,... More
