+ friendly staff + friendly people + price + 24/7 reception + cleaners clean all public spaces every day - not in center - small toilets - wifi not working well on top floor - 10€ deposit for key, 5% extra for paying with credit card - no kitchen, just 1 fridge (for whole hostel) and microwave Overall pretty pleasant... The hostel is bit far from the city center but fits the pocket well for a short stay. Staff is good. There are no free lockers and we need to pay 3 euro for renting locks. Rooms are bit small, wifi is good and free. Bathrooms are clean. No free breakfast or kitchen available.

Rude staff, dirty toilets, stinky and very small rooms and bad wifi connection. They don't even have a kitchen, only a refrigerator and a microwave in the reception. The only good thing about this hostel was the location, it's not in the city center but is easy and fast to go by public transport.

This is a young people's hostel. Honestly, it was a new experience for me. At the beginning, i felt scared from the stairs! it's very tiny and very up high and long. Also, the idea of sharing a room that has nothing but 2 stories beds and a locker was very new to me. I thought it annoying. Also, the... More

I love amsterdam! I arrived at amigo hostel via muiderpoort station. It was a 5 minute walk, and despite the wee hours of the morning, I arrived safely at this place. The best thing about Amigo is right infront of the entrance, you'll find a tram stop. It'll be easy to navigate and roam around the city. I loved my... More

We booked a room for two in this hostel for two nights. The hostel is a good half an hour walk from the train station and the part of the town where the hostel is situated did not look very safe at night. The rooms were awful - the one we were given at first had fungus all over the... More

First time staying in a hostel in Amsterdam and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Appi a member of staff was great help and always had a smile on his face, very welcoming! Met loads of great people, just a great atmosphere in general! One thing that i disliked was the steep stairs, and sharing toilet/shower room. Apart from that was excellent... More
