stayed at the city hotel with 5 mates hotel over lookin the main canal 5 mins walk from the train station that goes direct to the airport 5 mins walk from the bars and restraunts and (red light ) a good ten min walk to dam square in all a good place too stay in reach of everything you need more

The location of this hotel is good with a view over the Osterdock towards North Amsterdam around 15/20 mins walk from Central Station. The hotel is in a great position, a few minutes walk from Dam Square, but far enough out from the seedy parts of the city! Great location near Central Station and trams. Rooms are small and sparse but functional. This place is definitely only for people that are in Amsterdam on a budget and only need a bed to sleep in and a shower to bathe in. Staff were friendly and courteous. more
