this hotel could do with a bit of an update n a good clean, The hotel is far from the city centre, between 20-30 minutes walking. There is a tram station almost in front of the hotel but doesnt take you to central station! you have to change so be careful. the easiest way is to walk to the end... More

The hotel is far from the city centre, between 20-30minutes walking. There is a tram station almost in fron of the hotel. The staff was helpful but a little bit rude. The wifi had a bad signal and sometimes it was difficult to connect. The room was really nice, a little bit small and facing the street.

The manager was very rude by not saying hello to us in the first place. The wifi wasn't working or very poorly working most of the time, which is very inconvenient for business. Also, the lift was out of order at some point. More importantly, we've been asked to pay €10.10/person in cash for the city tax and without giving... More

We had book 3 double room for 1 night in June. The Hotel is located next to the Police Station but is far from the city center. Approx. 20 min by tram and 15 min by taxi. Room are well maintained, clean and have a nice design element. We had opted for Breakfast with our room booking, breakfast was severed... More

I booked the accomodation last minute and arrived later than expected. The person at reception was very confused and struggled to find my booking. He then proceeded to show us to our room only to come back and tell us we are in the wrong room. We packed up all our things and went back to reception, to then get... More

I left this hotel on last June 10th morning. A few hours after I called this hotel to inform that I forgot my gold chain in the bathroom. The answer was ''sorry the house keeping did not find it''. Unbelievable and what a shame ! this is a 4 stars hotel and they are risponsible of their staff honesty. My... More

Stayed at savoy hotel when our original accommodations fell through in Amsterdam. Staff was super nice and very helpful, an easy bus ride to the city center and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. You can also rent a bike for 15 euro for a whole day which is a must when visiting Amsterdam. The only thing I have... More

Reception staff nice, but we had room in a cellar that had death insects all over the bathroom, TV remote didn't work, unable to request extra pillow only 1. Bed was small and the door opened with a key that seemed to jam every time. Breakfast was good though. Probably wouldn't come back.

Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
