If you stay here, be prepared for more of a hostel experience than a hotel. My rating is based on that premise, not as if this were a full service hotel. First, staff were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 0700hr and they made sure that our room was ready. The room itself was basic and functional. My... More

Wooden uncarpeted staircase next to my room, meant that when party animals came home drunk at 3am everyone was woken bey their boots clomping upstairs. It was really expensive for a bed in an airless 'cupboard' with no windows

The good thing was the room was clean, and had a tv, the shower was hot and the water pressure was good. But there was no window in the room. Which is a very strange experience, ESP when you can't sleep because of the noise you become very aware of the stuffiness in the room. Only one shared shower on... More

Not bad in most areas, a little dirty here and there but the rooms are cozy, the beds soft and the staff are helpful if there are any problems. Room access 24/7, leave key with reception when you leave the building.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. When I was here I was put in one of the basement rooms which was reached by a very narrow stairway that smelled of vomit for the 3 nights I was there. The room itself was small which is to be expected for rooms in Amsterdam. However the room was... More

The location is okay and has tram stop near the hotel. It is close to the national museum~ I was living in the basement and no lift so it was hard to move my luggages. Fortunately, the staffs helped us to move our big baggages to our room. They are really nice! The problem is the wifi there was not... More

Stayed 3 nights and chose the hotel due to its good rates and location - it's very close to the Rijksmuseum and approx 5 min tram/20 min walk to the city centre. The room was reasonably clean, nice hotel staff and 24 hour reception which I appreciate. Also: Free Wifi! The shared bathroom was also clean, but lacked hand soap.... More

The rooms are really tiny, I felt I was in a wardrobe. Receptionnist was nice, however we asked for a double room and we ended up with a twin room. Beds were put together to make it look like a double, but it was really uncomfortable and we couldn't sleep well. Internet was really slow which was very annoying. The hotel... More

A friend and I stayed in a standard double room with a shared bathroom (no windows). The accommodation was acceptable for the price we paid as it had standard dorm-room style furniture (basic wooden single-bed, closet and desk) with minimalist linens and towels which were clean. The best part the stay was the convenient location near all major tourist points... More

You have to check your key In and out everytime you go in an out there is someone 24 hours available on door to open but we didn't like that as we like it more private so we can do our own thing, the room was quite small but was clean and had shower facilities and some of the staff... More
