Wonderful place to stay in Amsterdam! Beautiful boutique hotel (only 9 rooms), terrific staff, tremendously inviting and accommodating. Only wish I could have stayed longer and definitely plan to stay here again on a return visit to the city.

It is in a perfect location for arrival by bus or by trolley from Schlipol airport (200 yards from the stops). It is beautifully decorated; has a friendly and willing staff; the rooms are large and very well decorated; it is located within walking distances of the Rijksmuseum, the Rembrandt House and any other parts of the central areas that... Ideally located in the Grachten quartier. Close to the most important museums (Rijks-, Stedelijk, van Gogh), smaller museums (van Loon, Geelvinck, Willet-Holthuysen), art dealers, galeries and restaurants. As well as shopping area and city center. The maximum scent of Dutchness: Antiques in every room, high ceilings, King-size beds comfortable and cosy, plenty of cushions and towels in all sizes, high... More

Small charming Boutique Hotel in the Center of Amsterdam. Clean and friendly. Right in front of a Gracht. Not sure wether to take the breakfast in the hotel or a Coffee Place around the corner. Stayed finally in the Hotel and was a perfect choice. Fresh Fruit salad, eggs ham .... everything to have a good start for the day.... More

Really perfect little boutique hotel right in the heart of Amsterdam (on "the Prinsengracht", one of the main streets in the Dutch capital). A few hundred metres from shopping, nightlife, musea etc. Hotel itself in the style of a rich 18th Century Dutch merchant... large, high-ceiling rooms, lots of space, all mod cons. Couple of sitting rooms - with real... More

Great location (800m from the Rijkmuseum), on a stunning canal front situation. Rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. Staff are exceptional in every way. Friendly, attentive, intelligent, helpful, charming. You couldn't ask for better/more. The breakfast is wonderful, and when we were running late, they served us super quick. And when we arrived, tired and starving they fed and... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of January and would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who enjoys luxurious furnishings, attentive and curteous staff and a superb location. We stayed in the Schubert Suite overlooking the canal and found the hotel ideally situated for the many attractions and walks close by. The staff were able... More

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Seven One Seven! Our suite (the Tolkien suite) was beautifully appointed, spacious and very romantic. The hotel has been decorated with beautiful antiques and art, but it certainly is not over-the-top or imposing, but rather very personalized and welcoming. It almost felt like being at home, especially when we enjoyed great wines... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights over a weekend. The hotel is located within walking distance of the centre of the city, Anne Frank House and the museums. There are lovely restaurants nearby and the hotel was very good at making recommendations and reservations for us. The communal areas in the hotel are beautifully furnished and the... More
