Right in the middle of the red lights district in typical Amsterdam building. Bar and reception in one. Not so big room and corridors. Shared bathroom. Clean towels and beddings. The breakfast is not something special but plenty of bread, butter, ham, cheese, eggs and juice. You can have coffee from the bartender but don't forget to give her your... More

This hotel is in the prominent location with a bar and restra. Its great and everything really clean and I like the way they care for the guest.always taking care of people entering the hotel area and making sure nobody else can enter without their permission. Highly recommend it.loved it!

right in the centre of all things amsterdam, all night (24 hour)bar downstairs, small clean bedrooms and in our case a shared toilet and shower. not perhaps a boutique hotel but good fun all the same, very steep stairs, i think one night i used my teeth to help me up to my bedroom. recommended for party people who want... It was early in the evening when we left our hotel, and crossed a bridge and entered De Wallen or De Walletjes; which is the largest and best known red-light district in Amsterdam and consists of a network of alleys containing approximately three hundred one-room cabins rented by prostitutes who offer their sexual services from behind a window or glass... I stayed here recently and was pleased with the location as everything was in a short walking distance. Lively place to stay and the staff were great, putting big screen on for us to watch football. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. A great place to stay for the price paid

My partner and I stayed there in early September for 4 nights. The staff was very nice and helpful. The stairs are pretty steep so it might be a bit of a challenge if you have any physical restrictions. Keep in mind that almost all the staircases in older buildings in Amsterdam are quite narrow and steep. The hallway has a... More

Let's start with the cons ... they're so critical is not ... 1) It is the narrow stairs rising to the rooms ... those who have a heavy bag or portfolio Ahd..bamt more difficult and tiring to get his bags. 2) to open the access door to the rooms had to ask the bartender to open the door ... and... I stayed there last night. The hotel receptionist was quite funny but took a while to check in a group of lads before me. My room was on the top floor and was very hot with no fan provided. The single bed was tiny- suitable for slim short people only. The shared shower room was cramped and the hot tap... More
