One can't ask for a better place to stay in Amsterdam in terms of mobility, heart of things etc. My room was modest in size but clean. The staircase is horrible especially if you have luggage to cart up to the second floor. Beware of all night long parties and carry earplugs :)

The location was great, it was walkable from the Amsterdam Central Station, near to lots of attractions in walking distances. Room was very small, could hardly fit 2 people in. 2nd time of staying here. Hotel staff very friendly & helpful. Clean, spacious room at the top ( though those stairs are a killer!) Despite the busy street below we slept soundly. Would recommend The Frisco Inn. It's 5 mins from the station and central to everything.

Great base for all the sites of Amsterdam in an excellent location. Very clean and basic but typically Dutch i.e. the staircases are treacherous! Small hotel with reseption in the bar next door. No elevator, narrow and steep stairs. The room was small but clean, and when we asked for an extra duvet we got i right away. The location couldn't be better, right in the city center and walking distance to "everyting"!
