Stayed here for four nights and thought it was a great base to see all of central Amsterdam's attractions. Room was at back of building and as a result very quiet so no problems sleeping. Hotel staff were very friendly and efficient and provided a level of service some bigger hotels could do well to mirror. Would return to this... More

just spent 3 nights in this hotel with friends. Excellent location and spotlessly clean. very helpful friendly staff. We did not have a canal view. Very very steep stairs which was fine for us but should be considered if elderly or not 100% able-bodied . Would certainly go again. Good price compared to other hotels in same location More

Can't recommend this hotel enough, very large room with enormous comfortable bed, nespresso machine, well equipped bathroom, free wifi etc etc. One strange thought whilst it had an ironing board the iron had to be collected from reception!! The hotel's location is great, as it's only a short walk from the centre. More

Why did I give only 3 stars? It's based on the average of the two apartments we rented. We had a group of 8 people and we decided to rent the top 2 canal view apartments. The middle apartment (222) was fantastic: heaters work, full kitchen, has outside deck for smoking. The stairs are not for the faint of heart.... More
