I spend one of the worst night of my life because of the mess and the hostility of the receptionist who was on drugs. I advice to never go there if you want to spend good time in Amsterdam. This hotel is HORRIBLE

We found nothing charming or attractive about this hotel its standards are very low but is still charging high prices to stay in. Privacy I'd expect that from any hotel.previous reviews of this hotel which is given a 2/3 star for a reason are far off the mark

This hotel couldn't be in a better location to take advantage of all that Amsterdam has to offer. Located on the quiet yet vibrant Rembrandt Square, it has two cafes right in front of it, and our window overlooked the beautiful park. Although the rooms lack air conditioning, this is not untypical, and the location was quiet enough so that... More

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at ! Good points: Good location with a nice view of Rembrandt square. Bad points: I paid £100 per night this was way over the top I would estimate £25 per night more realistic also the room was supposed to be an upgrade but turned out to be very... More

The hotel is perfectly located to everything that's going on, night and day. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's situated above an Irish bar which serves the best breakfasts and roasts! If your less mobile then the extreme steepness of some the staircases may not be to your liking. I look... More

The location of the hotel is great, right in the square with loads of bars and restaurants, which was great for in summer as it was packed! Everything was in walking distance, although the train station was a little far, walking round Amsterdam is so beautiful we couldnt complain. The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and chatty all... More

Whilst the hotel is extremely local, ear plugs couldn't block out the extremely loud screams from the parties below. The clubs/bars don't close until 4am, then the dust carts come through and then the building work starts. The doors outside the bedrooms also don't close properly or quietly so you're constantly being woken by your neighbours coming and going. Similar... More

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
