Myself and my partner stayed in this hotel. As soon as we woke up in morning we had to leave the hotel to that night as the smell in the room was making myself and my partner sick. The rooms were very cramped and our window was over looking the back of a restaurant - NOT NICE! With a very... More

Great central location & so near train station. The room is extremely basic, but each room has a safe. We got fresh towels daily. Staff are friendly & there is a secure room to leave bags. Wifi drops out a lot. The rooms could do with a bit of paint a little bit would make a huge different.. All in... More

Orange Tulip Hotel is the best option if your priority is LOCATION and CLIENLINESS. I stayed at this hotel for the weekend with 5 friends (in our 20s) during Winter season. The hotel was quiet and the room was clean. However, when we arrived, (late at 11pm) the receptionist wanted o keep our Passports and IDs and when I asked... More

A group of 6 of us stayed here. We are In our twenties and we were just looking for somewhere to rest our heads at night time. This hotel was perfect! Rooms were small enough but clean. The staff on reception were very helpful with anything we needed to ask etc and came up straight away when we noticed one... More

My room doesn't view to the road. So i can sleep easily. The door was a bit hard to close. So the only thing your hear is the other door closing. Very great location 5 minute to Amsterdam Central and great staff for the tourism. Choose it to be close of all you want. Thank for all

Great location only five minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal. Comfortable bed and clean but that's about it. Steep narrow staircase but that's not uncommon in Amsterdam. Tiny room and expensive for what is offered. OK for a short stay. Better than I e

Is hotel really isn't great. There are two parts to the hotel, the second part where our room was, was above a takeaway/ restaurant which made the hall ways very smelly and really not very nice. Our room was a double room but was very very small but had a great view which was the only good thing I have... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
