We stayed here for a few nights and found it to be fine. Great location, walking distance to everything. Basic but clean room and bathroom - expected size for the cheap price. Clean towels everyday. I'd recommend to stay here if you're on a budget and spend minimal time in your room!

If filth and terror are your idea of a good time then the orange tulip is the joint for you, everyone else avoid like the plague! This is without a doubt the worst place that we have ever stayed. To be fair we knew for the price we paid that it would be basic but this was tragic. The only... More

Unless all bad reviews about this hotel we booked a room for 3 nights. We were quite scared from all comments on tripadvisor but surprisingly the room was clean enough and the bathroom as well so that we did not have any of the problems mentioned on this website! The cleaners came every morning to clean the room and to... More

Me and my 3 friends stayed here for a 3 night break. When we arrived, the lady, who spoke barely any English was adamant we did not have a reservation (even though we had the confirmation email printed off and proof of a deposit paid) she eventually gave us a room, but we had to wait hours so we had... Stayed here with two friends for a four day trip in Amsterdam. Three twin beds with no space between them, filthy pillows and beds. My two friends got bed bug bites, I was lucky I was not bitten. Very expensive for what it is. Will not recommend this hotel.

I wanted to precise that the cleaning of the room was terrible. The window did not shut (lots of noise). The glasses of the window were so dirty we could not see through it. The flush toilet was broken. The tv on the wall was not fixed and was very dangerous. The sheets of the beds were dirty.

The hotel is close to Amsterdam Centraal Station, the front door of the hotel is really just one door wide, 2 door before Lindbergh Tour n Tickets, you might miss it if you dont look closely. First we have to get upstairs to the receptionist, check in was easy, surely they would ask you to pay for another 'city tax'... More

Just want to get this out there: NO BEDBUGS were found during our stay! :-) We were all worried because of the bedbug reports. Me and my party shared 2 rooms and all found it fine - no-one was bitten or otherwise attacked by any viscous nasties! You get what you pay for here, which is a very central location,... More

The staff is nice, hotel location is good, very close to the center railway station. HOWEVER It is a terrible experience, never ever want to think again. I am still suffering.... There are many BED BUGS, eat you alive, it is so horrible, never had before. I only stay in the room for 1 night, and take me more than... More
