I stayed several times at this hotel. In the past it was fine: fair food and fair rooms for a 3 star hotel. However, my visit last week was was quite a different experience.... The hotel has friendly staff and that breakfast and dinner is still fine. However, this time I got a Comfort room (their basic room). When I... More

Not a great start- on the check in haven't been told anything, just given a room key. After trying to open the lift for ten minutes (you have to use the key which is so annoying) went back to reception to tell them about this. They said that's because my room is on the other side of the building. Well... More

Nice and clean hotel. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Comfortable beds. If you don't like staying in City centres then this is the place to stay, the hotel is in easy walking distance to the Metro where transport is cheap & very punctual.

OK hotel where rooms are spacious and clean. However, food from restaurant is not good (frozen soup, not cooked rice) and deep sleep was hard to get. Staff is professionan and smiling though. The hotel is 10-15 minutes from the city centre by metro.

It was my third stay in this hotel and things are not changing. Reasonable priced hotel, with easy access to metro (8-10mins walk) and in 15 mins you can reach Centraal station in Amdam. Overprices breakfast, very poor WiFi, good for parking as they have plenty of space. Directly to highway, so easy access one you get to Amdam. Slow... More

The hotel is visually blocked off by a metro bridge and was a bit of a pain to locate on foot. They should consider getting more signage near the metro station for directions. To get there on foot get off the Metro at Overamstel M50 or M51 then take the exist closest to the City Box (Large Yellow Building with a... More

The conditions and the services are not above average. The strong advantage that this accomodation has is a good price and proximity to the Metro line. The AC does a good job cooling the place, there isn't much noise from the tram line or traffic. All in all, it's a decent place to sleep for a couple of nights.

What I appreciated about the hotel was the location and the food they served in the restaurant. What I didn't like was: first, they were cooking eggs in the hotel lobby in the morning. Awful practice in personal opinion, as I had to stay with that smell in my clothes for 10 min after I left the hotel. The rooms... More

Dirty room. Dust were everywhere. Cleaning lady only changes bed sheets and towels and vacuums the floor. Bed stands and other tables were dusty and dirty so I cleaned the room before I used it. Dissapointed about that. But other things than that, hotel is lovely. Beds are comfortable, you can make your own tea and coffee. Staff is helpful.... More

My room is so filthy and it stinks!! If you are looking for a budget hotel, then there are a lot of hotels that you can choose from. The cleaners will never stop ringing your door bell, before the time of check-out.....
